Bennys POV
It was tournament day. I walked down down the hall to the elevator and pressed ground floor. When I got there I was playing against a guy with curly brown hair, blue eyes,light toned skin and he was already sitting down waiting for me to present myself.
I sat down in a comfy black chair and shook hands with him for the game to start. I was playing white and did d4 trying to do the London gambit even i didn't do that often and he did e5. Oh this was gonna be a long match. I took his king and everyone started clapping I shook his hand again and stood up walking out like I normally do. I went on a walk and found a cafe on the sidewalk and decided to get a coffee to treat my self, even though I'm paying.
I sat down at a table in the back corner and took out my chess set and practice until the waiter came.
"How may I take your order?" A sweet little voice said. I looked up from the chess set and saw a lady in white top and a brown apron with some black yoga pant on hugging her curves lightly and her hair in a bun with a few strands out.
"Hello, I may have a latte please darling" I awake as I moved my rook to take a pawn.
"Alright I'll be back" She said with a smile, I was looking outside and didn't finish my game until i looked back at the chess set and just moved my pawn and continued the game but then the waiter came back with my coffee
"here you go, enjoy "She said as she looked at my game
"Thanks love "I replied and my eyes followed to my chess board again and moved my Queen
"Wrong move, black will take your queen with bishop and then black will take your rook and now your kings out in the open and you have to protect it so you move your knight but then black takes your knight with queen and then your cornered with knight, rook and queen which are three of the most importente pieces" she said in all one breath I looked and saw she was correct
"Who are you?" I asked
"Y/n Y/L/N" she said as she sat down opposite to me.
"Benny Watts, Chess champion" I replied and rearanged the chess pieces to the correct order
"Wanna play a game?" i asked her. she nodded and took a white pawn and a black pawn in her hand and mixed the pieces together
" Left or right?" She asked
"Left" i replied and it was black so i flipped the board around so she was white and i was black
(TIME SKIP)
she won agasint me .I didn't even know her or seen her.
"have you played before?" I asked her
"Yes but never shown up to matches because I didn't want my name to be out there but i want to compete" she said kinda sad
"You still can. I can help you get into a match just here call me when your ready" I said giving her my phone number on a napkin with the money from my coffee.
(TIME SKIP)
I got a phone call so i got up from my comfy chair and answered the phone
"Hello is this Benny Watts?" She asked as she kinda mumbled the last part thinking that this was the wrong number
"Don't worry love its the correct number" I said kinda smirking through the phone
Y/N POV
i could hear him smirk through the phone. I knew i only met him but he's kind of cute. With his mustache and his lanky body with a black shirt and black pants with his hair like a beach wave to the side. But we just met of course he didn't feel the same.
"I want to enter a tournament" I said desperately
"Great meet at my appartment i wrote it on the back of the napkin" he said, I looked at the back of it and there it was. That sneaky little boy.
(TIME SKIP)
i showed up at his appartment and knocked on the door not even a second later he opened the door for me to come in, when i walked in coffee filled my nostrils and i sat down on a chair.
"Coffee?" He asked from the other side of the room
"No thanks" I replied and waited for him to sit with me. He sat and asked
"Would you like to come with me to Russia for a tournament and we could get you in as well"
"Yes! anything to be in a match. thank you thank you thank you" I said as i hugged him
(Timeskip)
i watched Benny playing agasint a guy. The guy didnt see and Benny took his queen while the guy was focusing on getting the pawn to the other side and then applade fell over the room benny won! I followed him out and hugged him.
"Good job! Now it time for my match" I said happily
"Thank you and also lets go dont want to be late do we" He said with a bit of scarasam. i got in and was versing Harry Beltik. I beat him with ease and walked out the room and there awaiteded benny he spun me around and congraglated me for my first match and for winning.
He suddenly kissed me and i didn't hesitate but kiss back after a long passionate kiss he oulled back and said
"I love you even though we might of just met 2 months ago"
"So do i, now come back here" I said and giggled a bit and then pulled him in a kiss.
