CHAPTER 33:
Liliana Charlotte Seina Vanidestine
It’s now the last day of the month, and it’s been a week since everything happened. I couldn’t shake off the conversation Theodore had with my father when we were at his mansion.
I really didn’t want to agree to go with my dad, but Theodore insisted it was just for me. His mixed signals confused me; he had been opposed to the idea at first, yet now he was pushing me to go abroad with my dad.
Even though I didn’t want to accompany my father on this trip, I realized I had no say in his decision. It felt like I was being pulled in two directions, torn between my own wishes and the expectations placed upon me.
As I pondered over my situation, I couldn’t help but feel a swirl of emotions—anxiety, frustration, but also a glimmer of excitement for the unknown ahead. It was a complicated blend that left me restless, wondering what the future held.
Theodore tried to make me understand that we would be in a long-distance relationship, or LDR as they call it.
I don’t know why time seems to fly so quickly. I still wanted to spend more time with Theodore; it feels like just yesterday when we first met. Now, I was on the brink of leaving...
Kelly kept telling me that I was a big girl now because I was starting to feel what they call "love." I thought about introducing her to Logan, but I found out he was quite the playboy. I didn't want my friend to get hurt, so I decided against it.
As I contemplated everything, a mix of excitement and anxiety washed over me. The prospect of leaving was daunting, but I couldn't help but feel a sense of adventure. Still, part of me longed to hold onto the moments I had with Theodore, wishing I could freeze time just a little longer before taking this leap.
Saglit ba yung five years?!?!
Just like the rings I'm wearing, I actually have two. The first one was from our wedding, while the other is a gift from Theodore. This one is a silver ring adorned with tiny diamonds along the edges. It’s engraved with ‘Mr. Vanidestine’—is that what you call it? Theodore has a matching ring, but his doesn't have any diamonds; it simply says ‘Mrs. Vanidestine.’ I jokingly told him it should be the other way around—that he should wear the one with diamonds and I should wear the plain one. He just laughed it off.
