CHAPTER 52: "Heart shaped apple."

I was sitting on our bed with Theodore, leaning against the headboard, watching YouTube on the large TV across from us, mounted on the wall.

I was snacking on some strawberries—of course, there were pancakes and milk too. Lately, I haven’t been eating much else besides these two favorites that Theodore always prepares whenever I ask him to make something for me.

In awe, I kept my eyes glued to the flat-screen TV, chewing on a strawberry. Five-Minute Crafts was playing, and I was absolutely fascinated by the videos. I had just discovered something I didn’t know—a watermelon with blue flesh! And an orange with kiwi inside! It was so adorable. I couldn't help but wonder, where could I find something like that?

I picked up a piece of pancake, dipped it into chocolate syrup, and took a bite from the side with the rich chocolate.

Ang sarap talaga!

Binaling ko ang tingin ko sa tv ako at umawang ang labi ko sa nakita ko.

May apple na ang shape is heart! Wow! Tapos sobrang red pa ng apple kaya mas natakaw ako sa apple na heart. Tsaka walang hiniwa yung guy sa video para maging heart yung shape nung apple, tapos tinanim pa niya yun kaya legit talaga!

Ma utosan nga si hubby na bumili ng apple na heart ang shape...

Alright, fine. I’ll go ahead and order that man around. He has nothing better to do anyway, other than complain about my diet, saying my stomach is filled with nothing but strawberries and pancakes!

Honestly, I’m ignoring him right now because he won’t stop nagging me, trying to make me eat foods I don’t even want.

Plus, my sense of smell has been acting strange lately. I actually asked him to cook spaghetti for me this morning because I was starving and suddenly had a craving. So, he made it for me. But when he finally served it on a plate, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it—the smell was awful, like some kind of fishy odor. He got pretty annoyed with me because of my reaction and started complaining again.

Now, after that, he’s ignoring me, just like I’m ignoring him.

Is it really my fault?

Napa tingin ako sa pinto ng banyo ng bumukas ito at lumabas duon si Theodore, bagong ligo lang yata siya. Hindi kasi nga naka ligo kaninang umaga kasi inutusan ko siya ka agad.

Wala siyang pang itaas at kitang kita ko ang yummy niyang eight na pandesal! Naka polupot ang puting towel sa baywang niya tama na namatakpan ang ano niya... Yung ano niya... Basta alam niyo na po yun!

Pinapatuyo niya ang basa niyang buhok gamit habang nakatingin sakin.

Kumuha ako ng banana at binalatan yun at saka dinip yun sa chocolate syrup at saka bahagyang lumuhod sa kama paharap sa kaniya.

"Hubby." Tawag ko sa kaniya.

Napasimangot naman ako ng tinignan lang ako nito at patuloy sa pag papatuyo ng basa niyang buhok.
