These are just some random kagehina one-shots. NO SMUT. There's mostly going to be fluff and angst. Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. Enjoy!

Something has been bugging me lately. Tobio and I have been dating for about a month, and it seems that nothing has changed.
Sure, we stare at each other in class all day, and yes, we give each other the occasional compliment. But that's not enough. Any best friend would do the same. Except we're not best friends, we are lovers. I hate how we don't act as normal lovers do. Tobio won't even let me call him by his first name! He gets all embarrassed for some reason, and is it really wrong of me to want some cuddles or kisses?
Since I am so great at being in a relationship (even though this is my first one if you don't count my elementary crush), I will confront Tobio about it because communication is key.
Of course, this is way harder than expected. It seems that I just can't find the right time to have a private conversation with him. No worries though! I can always talk to him at the end of the day when we walk home together.

"Kageyama! Wait up!" I yell out.
He stops and looks behind him at me. I try to catch my breath.
"Kageyama! Were you about to leave me?" I say in a playfully angry tone.
"Not my fault you took so long," he said very blatantly.
We started walking. My bike is on my right, and Tobio is on my left. I hold my bike with one hand, and carefully slip the other into Tobio's hand. He gives it a slight squeeze but doesn't say anything else.
"Kageyama, I have something I want to talk to you about," I blurt out. He nods slightly.
"Well, we've been dating for a month, one week, and five days, not that I'm counting," I start, "and I feel like we haven't been acting like a real couple, y'know?" He nods thoughtfully, but he has a bigger scowl sprawled on his face.
Tobio's face always seems to be a scowl. He doesn't really talk too much either. It's better than before we started dating because he just used to yell all the time, but now he's more reserved and quiet.
There is an awkward silence for a few seconds.
"Well, what do you want me to do about it?" he said. He seems annoyed.
"I want you to start inviting me over more. More cuddles and kisses and head pats. Cute pet names. Oh! And take me out on more dates! Just as lovers do." It looks like he's thinking it over. Giving a lot of thought to what I said, which I really don't understand because what I said was pretty straightforward.
We arrive at the intersection where we normally split up.
He cups my face into his hands and plants a small kiss on my lips. He then proceeds to hug me and give me a head pat.
"See you tomorrow, babe," he says before walking off.
"Oh- yeah! See ya tomorrow."
Weirdo.

The next day something very unexpected happened.
"Hinata, you should go on a date with me."
"Ehhhh...?"
This was very confusing to me. Normally, it was me who took the initiative to ask the other on a date. Not Tobio! He's getting out of character!
"Sure, Kageyama! I'm so surprised. It isn't like you to ask me out on a date."
"Shut up dumbass. I only did it because you wanted me to."
Wow, he actually took what I said to heart. What did I say? Communication is key.
