Jaehyun and Jina talked the whole time. They talked about their careers, what they want to do. Jaehyun told her stories from his trainee days and Jina told him about her college and how she decided to quit her job.
Jina felt comfortable to talk to Jaehyun, maybe because when she told him about how she was struggling currently as a writer, he would respond with a personal story of him struggling and how he overcame that. The conversation flew on its own and they even danced a bit to the live music playing for them. It was the perfect first date and both of them enjoyed each other's company.
Before they even knew it, it was time for them to leave for the party. Both of them were supposed to go to the party directly from here.
'Would you like to go as my date to the party?' Jaehyun asked.
Jina laughed seeing Jaehyun's shy expression when he asked the question. 'I would love to,' she replied and he held her hand in his. But before leaving, Jina insisted on getting her picture clicked with her holding the roses outside the restaurant.

The world seemed to freeze around Jaehyun and Jina when they entered the party. All eyes were on them. Jaehyun or any of the other members had never come with a date before to any of these parties. It had always been just them. This was the first time everyone at the party were seeing Jina. They had only heard about how her in the rumours as the girl who was living with the members but never seen her before.
'They are all staring,' Jina whispered to Jaehyun. He held her hand a bit tighter seeing her slightly nervous expression.
'That's because you look gorgeous tonight.' Jaehyun's comment made Jina blush.
'Where have you been?' Jungwoo came running by Jina's side.
'Yeah, we have been waiting for so long.' Winwin came up from behind them at Jaehyun's side.
'C'mon, all of us are sitting over there,' Jungwoo pointed in the direction of their table.
At the other corner of the room was Kyung-mi and her group of friends.
'Who is she?', one of Kyung-mi's friends asked.
'A nobody,' Kyung-mi replied with a scorn and the expression on all of their faces matched Kyung-mi's.
'What is she doing with the boys?'
'She clearly doesn't know her place,' Kyung-mi said, 'A commoner with idols, what a joke,' she scoffed.
'I'll go say Hi,' Kyung-mi said to her friends.
'Hi guys.' Kyung-mi said and sat next to Yuta, 'Hi Jina.'
Jina didn't reply she just bowed her head a bit to acknowledge her presence.
'Why were you guys so late?' Kyung-mi asked.
'We lost track of time,' Jaehyun said, winking at Jina.
Kyung-mi put up her fakest smile trying hard not to give away the anger she was feeling. She moved closer to Yuta and said to him, 'Why aren't you drinking anything tonight?'
She pulled the glass in front of him. Yuta looked at Jina who was looking at Kyung-mi and him and he pushed the glass away.
'I am not in the mood to drink,' he said.
'Oh c'mon, one drink won't hurt,' she urged him, pulling her chair closer to his and pulled the drink closer to him. Yuta nodded in agreement to get Kyung-mi off his back. But when he was about to pick up the drink, Kyung-mi insisted on making him drink herself.
