Yuta was standing beside Jina, with one arm holding her waist and the other pointing her towards the entrance. Jina however, was looking at Yuta as though she had met him for the first time just now. Out of all the things to happen today, Yuta appearing beside her was the last thing she expected.
'Yuta,' she whispered.
'Hm' Yuta smiled and scrunched his nose slightly. 'Let's go,' he said and pulled her hand to rest on his arm.
They walked through the long hallway showered in the golden light on both sides and a decoration of flowers adorning the ceiling, draping the sides. It looked utterly magnificent. But Jina was only looking at Yuta.
'You'll trip,' Yuta said when he noticed Jina was looking at him but not before smiling to himself.
'Hm?' Jina was snapped out of the trance and shifted her focus back on the hallway in front of her.
The music and chatter were becoming louder as they were quietly approaching the double doors. Seeing Yuta like this, Jina had completely forgotten where they were and why they were here in the first place but it soon dawned on her after seeing the faces she remembered from her high school standing behind the doors and she was snapped back to reality.
Yuta didn't waste a second and pulled her a bit closer as they walked through the doors. For the first time, Jina realised how famous Yuta actually is as the chatter and the music she had heard just seconds before was replaced by gasps and whispers. Yuta's presence seemed to not only hold her attention but the attention of her former classmates too and of all the other eyes which followed them till Jina was stopped by a girl.
'Jina! Hi!' she exclaimed and hugged Jina. Jina hugged her back but only reluctantly. The girl had never once hugged her or even smiled at her when they were in school together.
'How long has it been, look at you. You look gorgeous,' the girl said.
'You too,' Jina said adding in the compliment, obligatorily. The girl looked at Yuta now as though waiting for Jina to introduce them and Jina understood why the girl was here.
'Ah yes, sorry. This is Yuta-' Before Jina could even finish her sentence the girl had turned completely towards Yuta, 'So it is true then. I saw you both walk in and I was like, 'No way Han Jina walks in with the Yuta Nakamoto.' By the way, you're much handsome in person.' The girl extended her arms hoping for a hug but Yuta simply bowed his head slightly.
'Nice to meet you. I'm Jina's boyfriend,' he said and pulled Jina closer to his body and almost nuzzled his face in Jina's neck.
Yuta's arm on her waist, his body so close to hers and his face in her neck was too much for Jina to handle. 'If you'll excuse us for a second,' Jina said to the girl and pulled Yuta to the side but people kept coming to meet Jina and Yuta and asking them about their relationship. Yuta took all the opportunities to inform everyone how in love they are and didn't hesitate to show how comfortable they are in each other's close proximity. Jina had no option but to pull him aside through a side door in the hall leading to the janitor's closet. Jina shut the door behind her and the only light in the room was the dim stream of golden light coming through the slight crack in the door.
'I didn't know you wanted to take things this fast,' Yuta teased tilting his head to the side and moving closer.
'What are you doing?' Jina whispered to Yuta, fuming.
'I haven't even started doing anything yet,' Yuta whispered back, closing in some more.
But Jina was in no mood to play and slapped his arm away which was close to Jina's waist. 'Snap out of it. What are you doing here?'
