The entire house was bustling this evening. There were clothes sprawled everywhere with shoes and jackets and shirts falling on top of each other.

'How does this look?' Jungwoo asked coming out of his room holding a shirt and a pair of pants on him.

'I liked the other shirt better,' Johnny shouted from his room.

'You can't even see me hyung,' Jungwoo shouted back.

'Yeah, but I really liked that blue shirt,' Johnny replied.

'So, who all will be there today?' Jina asked everyone in the living room.

'Our friends,' Taeyong replied.

'Other idols, you mean?' Jina asked tentatively.

'Only some of them. Not all,' Winwin replied.

'We have friends other than idols too,' added Mark.

'We'll leave in another 30 mins, you should get ready,' Jaehyun said coming out of his room.

Everybody including Jina was invited to a birthday party of one of the members' friends. But Jaehyun wasn't talking about that. Jaehyun and Jina were going out for dinner as their date before the party and would join everyone later.

Jina had absolutely no idea what to wear.

'Okay guys I need your help,' she said, coming out of her room dressed in a green evening gown with off shoulder sleeves. It hugged her frame perfectly and draped down till just above her ankles.

'Guys!', she yelled when they wouldn't pay attention. 'I need help selecting the dress.'

'Waah, I like this,' Haechan said with his eyes widened.

'Okay this is option one,' she turned around to give everyone every angle of the dress. She noticed that Yuta was not at the table but she didn't have time to think about him right now.

'Remember this,' she said and rushed to try on the other option.

She walked out of her room, down the hall in her heels wearing a strappy black evening gown. The straps extended till her lower back revealing her upper back. It was tight till her waist and flowed from below it, covering her feet.

'This one, this one,' Doyoung said.

'I liked the previous one better,' Jungwoo said.

'But I like the length of this one better,' Johnny entered the discussion.

'The green brings out her eyes better,' Winwin said.

Jina was more confused than ever now.

'Should we vote?' Jina asked.

'I like the green one', Haechan shot his hand up.

'Okay who likes the green one?' Jina asked and Winwin, Jungwoo and Mark raised their hands along with Haechan's already raised hand.

Jina counted the hands in the air and asked 'And the black?' Johnny, Taeyong, Doyoung and Jaehyun raised their hands.

She looked at everyone, 'Seriously? It's a tie.'

'How did we reach a tie?' Taeyong looked around and realised that Yuta is not with them at the table. And this is when Yuta walked into the room as though waiting for someone to call out his name. He glanced at Jina once and said 'Wear this one', and came closer to whisper in her ear, 'It makes your eyes twinkle', and picked up an apple from the table and walked back to his room through the hall.

Jina stood still for a moment. Yuta's low whisper reminded her of the night they spent together on the roof and how close he was to her as he was now. She was snapped back to reality when the members started teasing her. Doyoung and Mark were smiling to themselves looking at Jina almost blushing. Haechan didn't stop imitating Yuta till Jaehyun and Jina left for their date.

Jaehyun really went all out for this date. Min-hyuk picked up Jaehyun and Jina from the house and they arrived at a very posh restaurant which Jaehyun had completely booked for the two of them.

As they sat themselves on the table in the centre, he presented her with a bouquet of red roses. They were a big bunch of the most beautiful roses Jina had ever seen and the table was filled with their fragrance. Jina took out her phone and asked Jaehyun if she could take a picture of him with the roses and he smiled holding them out to make it look like he was giving it to her.

'Do you like roses?' he asked.

'Yes, of course I do. Flowers are always great.'

'Are they your favourite?' he asked.

Jina thought for a second and the single gardenia left on her desk by Yuta came to her mind. 'I think I like gardenias these days', she said and smiled innocently.
