CHAPTER 10

Unti-unti kong minulat ang mga mata ko nang magising. I immediately look all over the place and I feel relieved when I realize I'm in my own bed.

Ngunit napansin ko kaagad ang taong nakadukdok sa harap ng vanity table ko. That's Wynona in her pajamas. What is she doing here?

Naalimpungatan ito at napatingin sa gawi ko.

"Omg, you're awake na!!" Nagulat ako nang tumakbo ito papunta sa akin at agad akong niyakap. She hugged me????? Wow.

"I'm so sorry, Ksenia. If I only look after you at the party, hindi sana mangyayari yon! I'm really sorry." I heard her voice cracked a little while apologizing.

And it all sinked in to me. I almost got rape at the party. And Winston...

"It's not your fault, Wyn. Stop saying sorry." sabi ko nang kumalas sa yakap.

"Kuya says sorry too but he'll apologize when he gets back. He's just taking care of those guys who tried to violate you."

"I heard them, they know Wayne. They want to get even with him." I remember everything I heard, clearly. But that's all, I didn't saw their faces except Paul.

"Yeah. Wayne beat them up a couple of months ago because he saw them trying to sexually assault a student inside the campus."

So they are really evil??

"Si Winston?" I asked. Wynona gave me a malicious smile like teasing me or something.

"Oh, yes. Winston! You won't believe what he did that night. He's really really worried about you. Actually, he's here kahapon binabantayan ka."

"Kahapon?" tanong ko.

"Oo, you were asleep since we got you home. Sabi ng doctor dahil iyon sa chemical na ipinaamoy sayo."

"Anong araw na ngayon?"

"Monday. And I'll call Winston, he's just in his office. He took a leave from work. Wait here." She said before leaving.

Nang maiwan ako mag isa, sinubukan kong alalahanin ang mga nangyari sa party. The voices,.. there was a familiar woman's voice na nagbigay ng keycard para sa room. But I can't remember whose voice was that.

"Lily.."

Pumasok si Winston at isinara ang pinto ng kwarto. He looks tired at walang tulog pero kahit na ganon ay gwapo pa rin. He's wearing his casual pambahay, so he really took a leave??

"Are you okay? How do you feel?" nag aalalang tanong nito nang makaupo siya sa kama.

"I'm okay." I gave him a smile before getting up and hug him. "Thank you." sabi ko habang nakayakap pa rin. Nakaupo siya habang ako'y nakaluhod sa kama at nakayakap sa leeg nya.

He is stiff at first but he's hugging me back now. 

He didn't say anything, we just stayed like that for some time.

Don't worry, baby. I'm here.

My eyes widened when I remember what I heard before I passed out. He called me baby. Was that real? Or I'm hallucinating?

Agad akong napakalas sa yakap nang maalala ko iyon. My cheeks  heated.

"Are you really fine, Lily?" he worriedly asked. I jerk a little when he hold my hand. But he instantly removed it after seeing my reaction.

"Sorry." I saw a glint of pain in his eyes. Aww, I reacted like that because of the waves of electricity went through my stomach giving me butterflies. Huhu. I think he misunderstood it.
