A/N: Agh! The whole thing deleted again, not once but FIVE times...I can't stand this app...let's get this over with.

"Are you sure you don't need to go to the infirmary?" I asked Kei, eyeing the red stained gauze binded around his sculpted torso.

Kei smiled at me reassuringly, though his pale complexion contradicted his assurance. "I'm fine. It's not very deep. If you hadn't gotten down there so fast, I'd probably be in an even worse position."

My brows furrowed. "If I hadn't even been there, you wouldn't be in this position at all."

Kei frowned. "Lareria..."

I shook my head to stop him. It was my fault he was hurt so badly. When he was going again the third year from Team Seven, I was watching from above and accidentally made a sounf, distracting Kei. The third year took that chance to strike at him, and I could only watch. The sight of blood made me lose it and I jumped from the tree. Of course, this lead to our victory as I disarmed the third year, but the costs...

After our win, I practically forced Kei and the others out of the Carnivorous Forest. All of our team was injured in some way, excluding Issa despite his fall down a chasm. Ignoring that fact, I wanted to go to the infirmary to get their wounds checked, but they insisted on treating them themselves. They expertly applied some kind of medicine to their shallow cuts and cleaned themselves of blood and dirt.

"Kei, didn't you say you were a healer?" I asked, looking at him hopefully. "Can't you heal this?"

Kei smiled and I felt my hope wilt. "It doesn't work that way," he said softly. "I'm afraid I can only heal others."

I looked down at my hands folded in my lap. Then what was the point? "Does anyone else know how to heal?"

Unsurprisingly, no one else did. Healing, after all, was a very difficult skill to acquire, and it was amazing we even had someone capable of doing it on our team. How unlucky was it that our healer was the only one hurt enough to require healing?

"Why did I have to make so much noise," I groaned, leaning heavily back on the couch. "The only thing that makes me feel worse is the fact I fell out of the trees three times."

My teammates stared at me.

"That makes you feel worse?" Rolen muttered, shaking his head.

"Three times?" Velero repeated. "You may not be cut out for scouting after all."

I scowled at them. "That's not-"

"She actually jumped two of those times," Issa commented as he took a sip of tea the Headmaster had the grace to give us during the break.

"That's not the point," I said, rolling my eyes. "I dont think its a good idea to go on with an injured Healer. Don't you think its about time we go to the infirmary?"

"No," Kei said firmly, straightening despite the injury. "I don't want to miss the next match."

I couldn't argue with that. Tenran's team was going up next. At the moment, they were heading to their soon-to-be battlefield. "I get that, but..."

"There is another way."

My eyes snapped up to Kei's sharply. "There is?"

Kei nodded and met my gaze. "You could heal me."

I deadpanned. "Kei, I think you've lost too much blood." This statement was met with a scowl. "If you've forgotten, I'm a first year. And I have absolutely no control over my aura, if I really have one. Don't comment. There's no chance I could heal you."
