'Please don't leave!' Granger pleaded.

'I have to! This is a very important case and it needs me! Please don't make this harder then it is!' Hetty insisted.

He knew he couldn't stop her from leaving, but did it have to be like this?!

'Please! We can work this out.'

'I love you! And we'll discuss this further when I get home.

A couple of hours later

Granger was pretty relived to see Callen.

'Callen! I'm really glad to see you. Have you heard from Hetty?' He asked.

Callen just gave him a shocked look and said:

'I have some really bad news.'

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Are you okay?' You look pretty shaken.' Hetty said, noticing how her husband looked at breakfast.

'I had a bad dream last night.' Granger unhappily replied.

'Care to discuss?'

Granger explained it.

'I woke up before he could say what it was, but I think he was about to tell me that you had been killed.' He said, trying not to cry.

Hetty was pretty shook when he said that.

'Um. It was just a bad dream. And I wouldn't just walk out of your life like have to get to work.' Hetty awkwardly said.

For the rest of the day, Granger worried about how Hetty reacted to his dream. She even left work early, saying that she 'had something she needed to do.'

Then just as he was ready to head home, he found a note that said:

'For the longest time, I thought being married was just a dream. I didn't think anyone would want to be with me because of who I am. Then you came back into my life, and over time, I got to see that I wasn't dreaming. Our relationship has always been complicated in it's own ways, but there are some parts of it that show just how much we really care about each other! Frankly, I was worried for a time that you would suddenly decide to walk out of my life. We may still argue, we may still disagree, but I won't just walk out of your life! I love you Owen, and living this married life, has made me very happy! We chose each other because we love each other. 1 bad dream doesn't mean anything bad.'

That made Granger feel a lot better.

When he got home, Hetty was waiting for him on the couch, being her usual adorable self. He sat down next to her.

'I love you too. And I'm sorry if I doubted your loyalty.' He said.

'That's okay.' Then she gave him a warm hug.

Smiling. 'Are you always this warm when you hug people?'

'Maybe it's because I really care?' She replied.

'Works for me.'
