"Very supportive... thanks" sambit ni Chase ng may lambing
"W-w-wala yun"
"Just relax there then okay? I'll be home sooner than you think"
"O-okay. I-ingat k-ka"
"Gagalingan ko interview para sayo"
"Chase on standby ka na daw" rinig ni Cassidy mula sa telepono
"S-sige na... m-mamaya n-na lang"
"Alright. Text me if you need anything okay?"
"O-okay" sambit ni Cassidy bago binaba ang tawag at pinagpatuloy ang panonood ng telebisyon.
Unang ininterview si Deina ng programa.
"Hi Deina! How are you today?" Panimula ng host
"Good! Great actually"
"That's good to hear..."
Umikot ang interview nung Deina sa mga paparating niyang projects pero para bang tumigil ang mundo ko sa sunod na tinanong ng host
"So Deina, you've been paired up with Chase Montemayor for quite a few projects now"
"Yes"
"Some fans are curious, are you guys having something special?"
"Ohh... haha we're friends, but about that I can't tell myself. Maybe you can ask him."
"But you? Do you see him more than a coworker?"
"Oh my gosh haha."
"Answer the question Deina, some fans want to hear it from you guys"
"Actually... yes. Because we've been working together for a few projects now right? We're very close, but he's really handsome and nobody wouldn't like him right?"
"Sino nga naman di magkakagusto kay Chase? Mabait na gwapo pa. I... I wouldn't be surprised if he says the same thing." Sambit ni Cassidy sa sarili
Chase's PoV
Narinig ko ang mga sagot ni Deina and I know for sure Cassidy overthinks about it. Damn it.
"Thank you Deina!"
"Thank you din po!"
"Sa pagbabalik natin, we'll be able to talk with Mr. Chase Montemayor! Ano nga bang ganap sa career niya ngayon? What exactly was the reason he cut his world tour short? At ang sagot sa kung may namamagitan nga ba sa kanila ni Deina. Abangan!"
Pagkatapos ng spiel tumayo na si Deina at umexit. She then saw me and smiled at me but I ignored her.
"Why?"
"What?" Taas kilay kong sambit moving her hand away
"I just said the truth Chase"
"I don't care"
"Chase pwesto na daw po tayo" sambit ng crew kaya pumwesto na ko sa stage leaving her
Commercial ended at nagsimula ang interview
"Let's welcome Mr. Chase Montemayor!"
"Hi" tipid na sagot ko sabay ngiti
"So let's get to the topic... everyone's curious, your world tour should've been more than a year in duration right?"
"Yes"
"What really happened? Bakit mo pinutol to 6 months? Did something happen?"
"Yes"
"What is it?"
"I'd rather not dive into details of my personal life but all I can say was that I need to see someone, very important. Some of you may say, na dahil lang dun pinaasa ko yung mga fans, but no. I haven't seen her or talked to her during the whole tour that was finished so I got scared that something might've happened"
"Her?"
"Yes, her"
"Is it Deina?"
"I would've told you it's Deina if it is but no"
"So, nothing's going on between you and Deina?"
"Nothing"
"I see... Chase napansin ko lang, you have a ring on your finger"
"Yes"
"What does it mean?"
Cassidy's PoV
"What does it mean?" Tanong nung host kay Chase pero alam ko namang hindi niya sasabihin. Career na niya yan ehh.
Napatingin ako sa sarili kong singsing kahit na alam ko naman na isasagot niya
"It is what it is"
"Wait. You mean, you're married?" Gulat na tanong nung host. Pati ako napabalik ang tingin ko sa telebisyon sa sinabi niya
"Yes" halos manlaki ang mata ko sa sinagot niya
"Oh my gosh. What a revelation! So this girl you went home for was your wife?"
"Yes"
"B-bakit niya inamin?" Tanong ko sa sarili ko kasi b-baka makaapekto yun sa trabaho niya. K-kasi di ba di naman isinapubliko yung kasal... ang alam ko p-para yun sa career niya ehh
"What's your message for her then?"
Nakita kong yumuko siya at ngumiti bago tumingin sa camera.
"I'll always be here for you. You are my priority now okay? I'll be home soon. I love you"
"L-love..." tulalang sambit ko hanggang sa di ko na namalayang natapos ang interview
