Nineteen

Chance's Pov

I let go when I run out of air. Savy is still closing her eyes. I saw the band-aid on her nose, I'm curious on what happened on her nose that it take too long to heal. Because of my curiosity, I remove the band-aid on the bridge of her nose without her permission.

There, I saw a yellowish mark. I'm certain that her nose is hit by a hard thing causing it to turn red then later on turned to violet then after, it will turn to yellowish like now.

“What happened to your nose?” I ask when she opened her eyes.

“Ahh..” she can't tell me, I know because her eyes are unsteady she seems not comfortable talking about it.

I didn't force her to answer. I'm still slightly gasping for air and she is too.

“The words written on your bracelet means, take care always. Who gave you that?”

“It's Arch... I need to go now. Open the door.”

Arch... ARCH?! Tssk... Am I jealous to a dead person? I bite my lower lip at that thought. Then I look on her lips again.

“Not again.” Savy pushed me away.

I laugh, “I'm not!”

I open the locks of the door for her to get out.

“Thanks.” she said.

“For what?”

“Of course for driving me here, what else do I have to thank for?”

She rolled her eyes before closing the door when she's already outside.

When she walk away, I smiled and touch my lips. I didn't expect her to let me do what I just did. And I didn't expect her to be that calm as her reaction, I thought she will slap me and punch me and cussed me a lot.

Is it an opportunity? I hope it is. My smile faded when Arzen arrived with his Ducati and run inside to their house. I'm upset again, for sure he will flirt with Savy again. I'm about to get my phone and play Temple Run when I saw Savy walking out from the house. Her face looks annoyed, at her back I saw Arzen who's smiling again like an idiot.

I'm starting to hate him, I knew him too well. He is a cousin of my friend, Brion— on the father side, his father and Brion's father are siblings. And he's cousin of Arch too, his mother and Arch's father are siblings.

I was about to walk out from my car when I saw Savy heading towards where my car was and get in. I'm shock to what she did.

“Lock the door.” she look at me, commanding.

I lock it immediately and turn the engine on. Before Arzen can come near, I drove off. That guy is persistent AF!

The ride was so quiet. I want to initiate a conversation but stopped myself. Maybe she don't want to speak.

That day passed smoothly, when I returned home that time, I'm smiling widely that made me earn my brother's tease.

“What's up? Who's this girl made you smile like that?” my brother Creen ask.

“No one, I just passed my exams today.” I lied.

“I know that smile, it's dangerous.” my other brother Cash raised his eyebrow.

“It's true, I just passed all my exams today.” I'm still smiling while reasoning.

“Is that so? Okay we won't force you. We'll just ask Grandpa Harley.”

“Hey, no! don't... I'm telling the truth.”

This two idiots will surely tease me to death when they know I have a crush, fvck them! Why they can't just mind their own affairs.

I just went upstairs and went in my room, before I close the door I heard Creen's laughter. Tssk..

That happens days ago.

In this house, only the three of us are often here. We don't have maids because mom doesn't want to. She want us to learn household chores. She and dad are often not around because they have different things that need their attention more than us. Dad is busy with grandpa Elrod managing their company business that is almost located all over the world. That's why I don't like to be a businessman because I don't want to have a little time with my own future family. Good thing I'm not the eldest of our siblings, it's Creen, he is the assigned successor. Then followed by Cash then me, their youngest. Creen is already 24 while Cash is still 22 and I'm 19. Mom is always busy not because she helped grandpa for managing those numerous Universities they have, she's busy because she's a known Architect. But unlike dad, she can still spend anytime with us, her son's.

Savy's Pov

I don't know why I just let Chance do that to me days ago in his car. My heart just beats too fast that time and my mind is in chaos. Last night, that incident happens on his car is always playing on my mind. I'm torn into two things, if I should be grateful that I fall asleep deeply last night or doubt my feelings for him. It's odd too, that I didn't think about Arch and just Chance and on what happens on his car. Really? What does it mean?

Today is Saturday, it's already 9 in the morning and I'm still lying on my bed. I'm feeling very well today, I wanna go out and do a jog, but stopped myself because outside is already hot. The Earth really change, on the past years, 9 in the morning is not so hot that can burn your skin but now even 7 or 8 in the morning the heat from the sun is scorching.

I stood up from my bed then went inside the bathroom, I look to my wrist to check the bracelet Arch gave me. So the words engraved means take care always. I smiled thinking how thoughtful and caring Arch is, I miss him. Maybe I'll just visit him and Aria today and bring their favorite foods and beautiful flowers.

After taking a bath, I change my clothes. I wear a High waist Denim shorts and match it with my gray vampire knitted sleeveless turtleneck. I didn't wear a make-up, my face became itchy if I put some. Then wear my black and white Nizza shoes, I also wear my anti-rad glasses then bring one of the books Arch gave me. The title is, When The Last Cherry Bloosom Falls. I bring my wallet too, then went out on my room. While walking towards our main door I tied my hair into a messy bun.

“Where are you going, Savy?” voice of my mom stopped me from pushing the door open.

“I'm going to visit Arch and Aria mom, don't worry I'll be quick.”

“Okay, take care.”

A/N: This is just a short update because I'm busy rn. I have many schoolworks and we need to cope up to our lessons that have been paused for a week because of the typhoon Agathon.
