Twenty-seven

Savy's Pov

“Arzen.” I told him the truth, i don't want to keep secrets with him.

Our relationship just started, i don't wanna end it sooner.

I'm still figuring out if what I feel for him is love or still like.

“That guy likes you right?”

I nod.

“Is he calling you often?”

“No, he just called last night and now.”

“What did he say?”

“He told me that he will be home after a month.”

“That's all?”

“He told me too, that... that he missed me. But, don't misinterpret it. We don't have a communication after he flew to Canada, there's no something on us.”

He nodded.

He didn't look jealous, but I still felt nervous.

I didn't sleep properly that night, thinking what would happen if Arzen will be back? Is he going to understand my relationship with Chance? I hope he will, he is not obsessed to me so i know he will. He is a smart guy too.

Days and weeks passed our relationship is fine. We are happy in each other's company. We have the same vibes, his three friends always interupts us when we get more sweeter in front of them.

Day comes that we need to prepare for graduation, everyone is busy. Students decorated the stage and help the teachers prepare what is needed to be prepared.

Time flew fast, the graduation is done. Chance is coming 1st year college and I'm gonna be a grade 12 student.

That days was very unforgettable, now I can tell that I really love Chance. He has all the characteristics i want in a guy.

But that happiness ends when the things started to rotate.

Arzen came home the same time Chance told me his father wants him to study Businesses Management in US.

I feel sad of course, because who knows how long will Chance stay there? Can I guarantee that I am still his only girl? I'm afraid he might found a woman better than me there, while I'm clueless here.

And also there's Arzen, the annoying scumbag as always.

“Share your thoughts, I wanna know.” Chance suddenly put his right arm on my shoulder.

We are sitting on the cemented chair just behind the road and eating street foods. The same vendor on our school that i've forgotten to pay what I ate back then was here and he's the vendor whom we buy this street foods. The vendor says that Chance paid him to act and buy all what he sells. I'm shock of course, because I thought he wants me to treat him. That's why there's only me and him on that vendor unlike the other vendors because he buy all of it! Gosh!

“Hey... You're thinking deep.” I heard Chance's voice again.

“Huh? Ahm... Sorry, pardon?”

“Share what your thinking.” he said.

“I'm just thinking of what might happen in the near future, when you will flew to US.”

“You don't need to overthink of it. Our relationship will continue of course, and in order for our long distance relationship to work, we must be loyal to each other, trust and never keep secrets. Through it, there will be no problem.” he says it calmly while eating kwek-kwek, tssk...
