"So, tell me what's been going on. You said you wanted to discuss the previous mission?" His white hair bounces as he moves, his tired grey eyes filled with waves of worry.

"I think the beast did something to me- I keep seeing it." I take a deep breath and close my eyes. "What do you mean?" His voice is soft, like he's talking to a child. "It's in the corner right now, but when I look at it-" I slowly drag my eyes to the corner, the swirling red beast stands in the corner. It's long fangs drip with saliva, and it's claws are covered in blood.

It makes my side hurt as I make eye contact, then it vanishes and fades into the dark of the ship. "It disappears for a few minutes." I look back at him and he's staring at the corner it was in. "I didn't see anything- are you running a fever?" I shake my head, "I don't think so. Coran changed my bandages when I woke up."

"Do you remember what happened?" Shiro asks with his light eyebrows knitted with concern. I shake my head again, "only the beast jumping to Pidge." He lets out a deep sigh and rubs his face. His knuckles are bruised and the metal on his other is scratched.

"I just got up after being thrown by it, and it was running to you and Pidge. I couldn't do anything but run, I wasn't close though. You pushed Pidge out of the way and it pounced on you. Your armor helped but didn't do the job- it let you go once you were still. I thought it killed you- we all did." I seen the tears build in his eyes, "thankfully Allura came just in time to pull it away and hold it. Hunk shot it so many times while Keith, Pidge, and I carried you back to a lion." I let out a small chuckle and rub the bandages under my shirt. "Fuck I almost died." I mumble and can't help but to let out another chuckle.

"Maybe just rest for a while? We'll be landing on Olkarion soon, but talk to Coran maybe he has something that could help you?" Shiro suggests and gives me a small smile. I feel the hairs stand up on the back of my neck again and turn to the area of source. "Ye- yeah, rest and Coran. Got it." I can only stare at it's blood covered claws as I walk out of Shiro's room.

The ship's long hallways are dim, the crystal is having a hard time functioning after the last attack. We floated in space for a long time while Coran worked on it. I head to the bridge, hoping Coran will be there. It's quiet as I walk and the windows only show darkness. My hair stands again and it appears in front of me, ten feet away.

I meet it's eyes but it doesn't go away, it only lets a deep growl. I rub my eyes and blink, every time I close my eyes it gets closer. "Go away-" I tell it, "you're in my head." It pounces and it's claws dig into my shoulders. It's drool hangs near my face as we land on the floor. I close my eyes and scream, it's teeth were closing around my face.

"Lance! What's going on?" Keith is panting in the doorway, his bayard in hand. I look around and it's gone, not tearing into my flesh. "I- it-" I stutter out and he drops his guard. "Let's get you some food, Coran is almost done with dinner." He offers his hand and he pulls me up. We walk in silence through the ship, every step of the way I could feel it behind us.

We make it to the kitchen without the thing attacking me, it's just stalking now. "I'm glad you're okay Lance, it was terrifying carrying you." He finally speaks as he digs through the refrigerator. Keith is careful not to mess with any of the bowls on the counters, Coran was cooking after all. Although, some of the bowls are a mess and empty. He pulls out a water pouch and hands it to me, I shake as I try to push the straw through the plastic. The hole is hard to miss and I'm already on edge because of the beast.

"I'm glad no one else got hurt-" Coran bursts in through the dining room covered in powder. "Dinner is on the table, just have to call everyone!" He chirps and slips past us to the food goo dispenser. He grabs a plate and piles some on, "just in case someone wants this!"
