Jessy called me on her way home before I could even get in to take a shower. They found a corpse, without much information. No ID, maybe female and no age. Just that a body was found. The timing seemed a little odd, so I figured it was unlikely to be Hannah and continued with the plan. Shower, message the group as needed, and rest. Thomas ended up running off to who knows where after I told him about the body.

I managed to do a bit more digging after but not finding anything. Instead I scratched my head, leaning back in my chair thinking about Thomas. Why would he go offline like that? Even if he just wanted to check with the police he would've said something... I think?

??? : I have news.
A dead body has been found.

Me : Another one??
What were you about to write?

??? : That I am impressed.
You seem to be part of the group already.

Me : Jessy and I get along pretty well

??? : So she was the one who told you about the body?

Me : Yeah, I'm surprised you didn't see it since I got a call from her about it.

??? : I have my systems set to tell me if you get a call from anyone not in that group.

Me : Ah, I see.
That makes sense.

??? : Either way, that's very good.
You should keep her close.

Me : Okay.

??? : One more thing.
About the last picture you sent me.

He sent back the cat picture. I could feel my eyebrow raise slightly in confusion. Was there something wrong with the picture?

??? : Did you get it from Hannah's cloud?

Me : Yeah? Not sure where else I would've gotten it from. Something wrong with it?

??? : Nevermind.
Everything is fine.

Before I could ask anything else, he went offline. "Ass." I muttered before getting back to working on the cloud. There had to be at least something of use in here. With a few hours of work I managed to find a file. It was unreadable by any means. Or at least nothing I could make out from it.

Well, I shouldn't say that. I could tell it was from a doctors office, not whose but there was a signature at the bottom. The heart with the monitor through it was a give away, even with how pixelated it was. I tried to make heads or tales of it before sending it off to mystery man.

Yawning, as I tried to keep myself awake. I know he told me to rest, but after that phone call... I just couldn't. The idea of someone threatening my life again... wasn't pleasant. Instead I had to think of places to go next. I had also been looking for more apartments in other states I could go to, with a similar system that I had here. I just wasn't getting anywhere in that search.

??? : What's that?

Me : A prescription I think.
No idea of the Doctor's name or what it's for though. It is a little illegible.

??? : Mmh, the resolution is really awful.
But I can fix that. Give me a little time.

And... he was offline again. Guess it's back to work for me in the meantime. Before I could do much of anything I had both Jessy and Cleo messaging me. Talking to them didn't really reveal much new information. Of course there was also a bit of group chat with Richy mixed in. After that was all done, I finally managed to get back to work. I found another picture of Hannah this time.

Before I could get a good look at it, Richy messaged Jessy. At first he just seemed concerned, asking why she told me about the body first. He really seemed to like her, but that wasn't everything. Richy had something to tell her about me. I waited to see what it was, but he never said. He was going to tell her in person.
