What did I miss? Why did I suddenly think about Richy when I read that sentence? When I think about it, there were some key to his behavior. I can only think about some things that not only he, but what others said. The first being when I was speaking with Thomas about Hannah's disappearance and Jake's first message to him.

Thomas : But she wasn't there. Richy was already sitting in front of her door. His garage is less than 5 minutes away.
Since then Hannah has disappeared without a trace.

Two, there was a conversation Richy and Cleo had. He figured that she knew the timing needed to make one message, with my number. She could have called the police, or anyone else for help. That was if she had her phone and Hannah was the one to send the message.

Three, in the group chat, Dan and Richy were having an argument. One where Jessy took Dan's side, not his. It was obvious Richy cared about her, even admitting to worrying about her in her conversation with me. Plus the information that I still don't know what he told Jessy.

Me : Do you like Jessy?

Richy : 😳
Why would you say something like that?!?!

Me : I just have a feeling

Richy : 😶
No, of course not!
But what if I did like her?

Me : I wouldn't mind

Richy : Even better

Me : Is it possible that you have any enemies?

Dan : Nonsense

Four, His reaction to Alfie's comment about the man without a face. He even asked if I had told anyone else yet. In that also gaining the information that I was not in Duskwood or that I hadn't spoken with Alfie personally.

Five, he could think that Dan likes Lilly. Or that Dan is cheating on Jessy with Lily. This fits with three. His care for Jessy would make him want to protect her from heart break like that. The question is why does he think that. Other than a conversation between Dan and Lily that I have with Dan calling Lilly honey, and Lilly asking if he could come over.

Six, constant redirection away from the Man without a Face theory. There were several times where he made it clear he didn't want us to look into it. Not forceful, but leading in a sense.

Richy : Alfie is from Duskwood, just like me. On top of it, his mom own the motel
The little guy had no choice but to listen to all those legends and stories

Jessy : Which could match exactly what Alfie told. Hannah was taken to the forest

Seven, Richy's shop is on the road to closure due to Tool Tastic. Either him finding Hannah or in this case surviving the killer would increase business.

Eight, A conversation I had with Jake. It had to be someone in the group. When I didn't send the message to the group telling them about the threat on Cleo, how would they have known? It had to be someone in the group. While he might not have sent the video himself, if he is working with Mr. Hanson then could have provided the number of Cleo to send the video.
