"Benny, can I talk to you?" 11 year old Matt asked his best friend.
"Always." Bentley smiled.
"Privately." Matt started to pull the girl towards his room.
"What's wrong Bernard?" Bentley asked smiling once they got into the room.
"Nothing, I just uh I..." Matt stuttered.
"Matty, you know you can tell me anything. right?" The young girl reassured.
"Yeah, it's just, I don't know how to say this." The young boy started. "Bentley Ryan Montgomery, I like you. Like I like like you." The young boy ended. Young Bentley just stood there with her mouth open. Shock in her eyes. "Bentley? Helllooo." The boy waved his hand in front of the girl.
"Look, Matt, we're so young. I mean we're only in 6th grade. I just don't think I have those same feelings for you. I'm sorry. Can we still be best friends though?" the ginger haired girl asked.
"Oh. Yeah of course. Friends." The brunette boy smiled.
"No hard feelings?" Bentley double checked.
"None." The boy smiled, not daring to make eye contact.

It was now 6 months after Matt announced his feelings for the young girl. It was mid July and the Montgomery family was moving to LA the following day. Bentley decided to spend her last day in Somerville, Massachusetts with her best friends, the Sturniolo Triplets and her little sister Willabelle. Now, Willa would never admit this, but she sorta had a small crush on Chris. Bentley was also starting to develop a little crush on Matt, but she would never tell anyone this, not even her sister.
"What do you guys wants to do?" Nick asked taking Bentley away from her thoughts.
"I kind of just want to walk around town. Think about memories before we leave." Bentley said looking at her little sister.
"I agree with Bentley." Willa smiled.
The 5 kids were no walking to their favorite ice cream store.
"Can I have a scoop of strawberry please?" The youngest girl asked.
"Can I have vanilla?" The older girl asked.
"Can I also have vanilla?" The middle triplet asked.
"We both want chocolate." Nick answered for him and Chris.
"Yeah." Chris added to clarify.

Bentley was now sitting on the floor of her now empty, childhood room.
Now, don't get me wrong, the girl was ecstatic to move to LA, but she was also extremely sad to leave behind her entire life and all of her friends. "Bentley!! Willabelle!! Time to get in the car!! We have to head to the airport!!" The young girls' mother shouted.
"Coming!!" Both girls shouted back, slowly walking down the stairs looking around their childhood home.
