It's been three days, no contact with them, but I do get to know if something bad will happen and am able to warn them if needed.
I've spent those last three days going to school and then hanging out in my room with Loki.
I've had a lot of fun with him. Not just the dirty. But, actually doing fun stuff. We watch movies together, read to each other, tell stories about our lives. Lokis stories are always far more interesting than mine, obviously.
Right now, we are in the kitchen eating dinner, mac-n-cheese. We're sitting at the island talking to each other.
"They're on their way back." I say after getting a vision.
"Goodbye, silence."
I laugh and nod in agreement.
"They're fun though."
"I admit, I have grown quit fond of your family."
"Really? That's great." I say happily.
"I don't usually like anyone."
"Well, it did take you a week to admit it. And you love me, so." I chuckle.
"That is true."
We laugh together and finish eating.
Loki and I go to the common room and sit on the couch waiting for the group to show.
"Give me a kiss before they get here and we can't until we' re in our 'my' room." I demand.
He chuckles and pulls me into a sweet and soft kiss. We pull away after a while and I sit back against the couch and lean my side on him. I start to read him a book from my memory that we started yesterday.
About thirty minutes later the elevator rings and the Avengers walk in.
"Hey, guys." I say with a smile.
"Hey, lovebirds." Bucky says with Sam, who was in the elevator when they came in.
I roll my eyes, unknowingly at the same time as Loki.
"And now they roll their eyes together." Bucky points out.
"How cute." Sam finishes.
"Dad. Shut them up."
"Shut your asses up or you're sleeping in the ally tonight." He says.
They go quite and me and Loki laugh.
"Thank you." I say and dad nods.
"Hey, wait, you guys can't say shit." I say.
"You both say the same thing and the same time, the same exact way." Loki says.
"Bromance." We say together.
"No, that's straight romance." Clint says.
"They're getting married." Pietro says.
"Shut up." Sam and Bucky say together, proving out points.
We all chuckle at them and Peter walks in.
"Hey, Mr.Stark."
"Hey, kid."
"Hey, everyone else."
"Hi." They all reply.
Loki and I move over to my chair while the others take the couches.
Loki sits down and I sit between his legs, his arms wrapped around my torso.
"Thor back from Asgard yet?" Clint asks.
"No but he will be soon." I answer.
"How do you kno-" he starts to say until I raise my brow at him. "Nevermind."
Me and Loki chuckle and Jarvis starts talking.
"Ruby, Thor is here."
"Okay. Thanks Jar."
"Now he's got a nickname. He's supposed to be mine y'know." Dad says.
"I like the nickname, Tony." Jarvis says.
"You gave him an attitude."
"Yes I did." I say proudly.
The elevator opens and in walks Thor. With Jane. Loki and I roll our eyes and I turn my head to look at him.
"Great." I whisper. "Hey, Thor!"
"Welcome back." Steve says.
"Lady Ruby, you remember Jane?"
"How could I forget."
I say this while glaring daggers at her and I feel Loki laugh under me.
"I could never forget you either." Jane says.
"That's good. Then, you know not to fuck with Loki and I."
She scoffs and rolls her eyes and I smile and lay my head on Loki's chest.
"Great. This is Jane Foster, everyone who hasn't met her." Thor says excitedly.
"Hi." Jane waves shyly.
"Hey." Everyone says sweetly.
"It's good to finally meet you." Bruce says.
"You too. I'm a big fan of your work."
"Suck up." I whisper to Loki and we laugh.
Everyone looks at us confused and we continue to chuckle. They all look away slowly and turn back to Jane.
Everyone, officially, meets Jane and she goes to talk to Bruce. They talk science shit and I tune in to get as much information as I can hear.
I get some stuff thinking that maybe I could use it later to mess with her. She might not think that I'm very smart, but I am.
"Loki."
"Ruby."
"Hi." I say and he chuckles.
"Hi, darling."
"The way you say darling is just music to my ears just so you know." I say looking at him.
"Is that so? Darling."
"Stop." I say with a laugh and look away.
"Okay, darling."
I laugh and people look at me.
"What? We have inside jokes. Look away." I say while shooing them.
They chuckle and I lay my head on Loki with a smile.
We stay like for about an hour and I start to get uncomfortable. I did as I had done last time. Taking a pillow and setting it on Lokis lap and laying down. This time I am laying on my back looking at Loki.
"You alright?" He asks.
"I'm perfectly fine." I say honestly.
"You comfy now?" He asks with a smile.
"Yes, I am."
He leans down and kisses me on the nose and I smile. I turn onto my side and listen to the people talk. Dad and Steve are bickering about something while the others throw in their point of views every now and then.
"Y'all have the stupidest arguments." I complain.
"It's not stupid." Both of them say.
"Yeah it is." Loki and I say.
"They're right." Bucky says.
"Bucky, I'm sorry, but you can't talk." I say.
"Fair enough." He says.
"Really though, can we be civil. Maybe no bickering for once." I say.
"Fine." Dad says.
"Thank you." I say sincerely.
It takes them a few seconds to figure out what to talk about without arguing and I roll my eyes at them.
They talk to each other, nicely, and I listen in, waiting for if I need to say something.
I start to get tired and try my best to stay awake. Then, my eyes flutter shut and don't open up.
