it was almost silent as you walked through the woods you haven't lived in this town for long but you have taken a  liking to the woods as its just a place you can go to escape from people. you walked further among the trees until you arrive at an unfamiliar clearing that was a small pond that was long lost and decrepit it would be a nice place to read a book and chill with friends you think to yourself .

after spending half an hour at your new reading spot you continue to walk further into the woods. the sky slowly darkens before you decide to turn back. the most interesting thing you found was a pond but little did you know it was the least strange discovery you would find today on your way back out the forest something unusual catches your attention out of the corner of your eye. an old worn down police box from the 60s. it was covered in vines and leaves the paint was worn to the point that it might as well have not been there to begin with is certain areas, some windows were cracked and slightly yellowed, the pull to open sign was yellowed, stained broken. someone must have dumped it here after a bunch of them were decommissioned. curiosity took hold of you so even though it was dark and getting late something was pulling you towards the box just like when you see an injured animal.

placing your hand on the support beam you can sense something is off about this box its as if was alive and in severe pain, you just want to comfort and reassure the poor thing.what are you thinking its just a broken down box it cant be in pain. there was a exceptionally rusty key almost fused into the keyhole. taking the risk you reach out and twist the key but you dont dare to try and take it out for risk of the key breaking. you push the door and it opens with some resistance.
