"Hahaha!" ginny couldn't stop laughing as she fell into luna's arms, luna behind her holding the redhead up from under her arms getting her to her feet. Ginny let out a sigh. "that was crazy!" ginny stated as she took her broken heel off after they ran they decide to sneak into a cellar and drink till they bellied up.
Luna was now returning the giggling ginger, "ginny, you busted a barrel of beer!" luna herself couldn't help but laugh at the way they were caught "then Ms.Furguson came in and she slipped all over the floor!" ginny collapsed back into luna's hands by the force of her laugh
"and she used a spell to spray it all over us now was wet and kinda sticky" luna shrugged her arms fixing ginny back to her feet, though the space between them was still really small. "Don't let my brother know that part of tonight," ginny said lowly with a sigh as she stood in front of the painting luna holding her hand. "So this where I take my leave" luna pulled ginny closer their noses touching
"...yeah" Ginny closed her eyes and leaned in, placing her head on the taller woman's shoulder. but luna cleared her throat and opened the painting "goodnight luna" she draped the invisible cloak over her body and set ginny inside. a giggling tripping ginny stumbled her way to her room happy, but invisible.
Luna looked at all the stares she was given from her friend eas dropping on the couch. "Tomorrow" luna said and walked away to her dorm, she chatted with all of her friends about all of it.
The next day Luna woke up and got ready dressed in ripped jeans with a black crop top and her raven Claw tie, she went to breakfast, and sat down at her table, instead of sitting closer to her delinquent friends she sat closer to her old ones, she was doing a good job with balancing them out because she loved her new friends but missed her old ones. So she hung with them on separate days
"Lilly! I'm telling you we were dunked in beer, butterbeer" luna laughed as she ate her waffles telling all the details "eww, oh my god was it sticky?" her friend lucy asked as she nudged Lilly "yes ugh god it was horrible" luna rolled her eyes. The doors to the corridor opened showing Harry and ron with hermonie following behind ranting, she looked stressed as if she could burst into tears at any moment.
Luna scrunched her face in confusion but brushed it off. after she finished eating, she grabbed an empty silver tray and began filling it with ginny's favorite snacks and a glass of pumpkin juice "bye guys" luna smiled before standing and heading to the Gryffindor common room, that should be cleared out by now. luna walked up stone steps stepping on the wooden floorboards of the hallway.
she sat the tray down her note on the tray, she knocked on the door but when she looked at the crack under the door ginny's shadow looked like it had been waiting for her. "...good morning" her accent heavy with her morning tone luna smiled at the sound of the voice she missed waking up to. "Goodmorning darling" luna said her tone a bit more flirty than she intended
"...did you bring pumpkin juice today?' ginny's voice called as she grew quieter with shyness in her voice that squeaked. luna gave a chuckle "yes, I did" Ginny was silent but luna couldn't move she felt like more needed to b said after last night "last night was fun" Ginny said "and...I've thought a lot and I'm ready to let the cat out the bag. I forgive you" ginny opened the door revealing herself sitting on the floor, her long hair to her elbows and a pink shirt with jogging pants on.
But Ginny was shocked to see her soulmate crying looking down at her tears falling over the tray. "really?" luna asked her hand over her mouth with a soft chuckle "yeah, how could I stay mad at you, your my soulmate" ginny stood up and hug luna, the white-haired female pulled her into a passionate kiss. "so will you come out of your room?" luna asked "yeah... I guess" Ginny grabbed her Gryffindor tie and wrapped it around her neck
"No robes?" luna asked seeing Ginny and she were too alike "I don't feel like it" they high five and walked to class.
