Prologue

 7 August 1943

Somewhere in Vella Gulf

Why?

These are the questions that Kawakaze wanted to ask as her Captain stabbed her from behind by a special blade that could injure shipgirls

The Captain explained that he is ordered by Nagato to kill her, due to she found out that she killed Mutsu by making one of her shells detonate inside her ship killing her

2 months ago Mutsu died as one of the shells in her ship exploded, Nagato commanded some of the Japanese officials to conduct an investigation as she received a report that there is traitor in the ranks

As Kawakaze fell on the floor with blood starting to come out from her stomach, her crew left her alone, satisfied as they avenge Lady Mutsu's death

What did she have to suffer this kind of fate, she served Lady Nagato and remained loyal to her, but now she will die here without knowing the perpetrator that sets her up

as the crew left her alone including the 3 destroyer shipgirls that were with her, her radars could detect that 3 American Destroyers are heading here

and from there Kawakaze closes her eyes as she waits for her death

But it never came, she opened her eyes and saw 30 people on her ship, Kawakaze recognized them as a part of her crew, why are they hear

and then one of the 30 crew members spoke American language to the three American destroyers heading her ship, The were spies inside her ship, how did she not saw this?

and then suddenly 2 of the 30 crew members takes her to the infirmary to treat her injuries

but from there she lost consciousness

Timeskip

We could see Kawakaze slowly waking up in a hut in a unknown location

As Kawakaze tries to stand up he heard a mans voice

"Don's stand up yet you're still weak and you haven't recover yet"

As Kawakaze heard this she tries to find a weapon to defend herself only to see two people holding M1917 Enfield rifles and were being pointed to her

as the man saw this he spoke in a familiar language

"Tumigil kayo, tinatakot nyo siya"(Stop, you're scaring her)

As Kawakaze heard this, she finally recognized it, It was FIlipino Language, It was a good thing she learned FIlipino language, so she could talk to the inhabitant's in the Philippines after they successfully occupied it

Kawakaze: S-Sino kayo, nasaan ako?(W-Who are you, where am I?)

and then the man and the two men pointing there guns at her looked at her in shock

"Alam po pala ang aming wika, marunong ka bang magsalita ng ingles?"(You know our language, can you speak English?)

Kawakaze: Hindi(No)

"Ganoon pala, ang pangalan ko ay Jesús A. Villamor nadito ka ngayon sa gubat sa Leyte"(I see, my name is Jesús A. Villamor you are here now in the forest in Leyte)

As Kawakaze heard this she now knows that she is now in The Philippines but how did they got her ship here

and then she realized the 30 people that saved her from certain death, but how did they operate her ship from Vella Gulf to the Philippines?

and from there Villamor explained that there the 30 Filipino American managed to disguise themselves as Japanese since they received reports that Kawakaze will be executed due to a false claim that she killed Mutsu 2 months ago and now her ship is being repaired somewhere in the water caves of Leyte

For now She'll be a prisoner of war as the Philippine resistance against Japan had capture her

But why did they save her life?
