This is Yui Takeshi, The Granddaughter of Hiroshima Takeshi, The Newest Admiral of the Japanese Navy also known as The Sakura Empire at the age of 19 years old
Well you are all wondering why did she became of the Admiral that quickly, well 10 years ago an alien race called Sirens appeared and attacked cities around the world killing many humans, and because of this the scientists looked for a way to revive the WW2 shipgirls to which they succeeded and Humanity manages to fight back
When Yui is 12, her Father died in the Naval Battle as a Admiral, and so Yui studied hard and trained herself on using Martial arts and samurai swords with he help of the Shipgirls in the Sakura Empire
and with her Great Grandmother, Nagato(Who never aged since she is a shipgirl), she was given the role as the Admiral of the Whole Navy after she finished her High school due to she is very smart and the Navy needs a worthy Admiral
As Yui walked in the hallways she headed to the meeting room where Nagato and her aunt Mutsu is
