Every day I wake up the world is the same hue
Groggy limbs and shadowed eyes, hours only slept a few
Am I the only one who feels like, living is just a trap?
People say, during highschool, life passes like a snap
How can this be true when every second was a drag
All the so called kids at school's one goal was to brag.
Back breaks, skin scrapes, the world is full of snakes.
Bad raps, life like mouse-traps, the world is full of hate.
Tomorrow when we wake up- it will be the same again
Go to work or go to school, it's still the same when
Every day I wake up I can feel a mental block.
It is that every day I live, that the time is being clocked.
I hope one day I may be freed- through death perhaps, though freed of fakes
And all of life's struggles, and sorrows; and headaches.
