This pair seemed fairly weak, even though their power greatly outstretched a lower moon's. Upper six... that's right.

They must have lived long. Always together. Selfishly, Yoriichi knew he would have wished for that too. For both Michikatsu and Nezuko...

Always standing with his older brother Michikatsu who now is a brilliant demon slayer...

Seeing Nezuko human in the beautiful sunshine he always had favor over...

Enough daydreaming.

Although the siblings were definitely below Yoriichi, their teamwork was coordinated and could have dealt fatal wounds.

Siblings...

Blow after blow headed straight for his head. Even so, every tinge of red on Yoriichi's blade made their smirks and smiles crumble slightly.

Fear of this super human, anxious of their lazy days of eating humans with no objection made the demons' attacks grow more and more violent.

Deflecting and dodging soon became fruitless.

The floor cracked.

The people downstairs.

This was enough playing around. Yoriichi swiftly went to his sword,

"I'm sorry."

Flames burst from his blade.

Fire... Just like that day.

Their heads tore away from their neck.

Two bodies thudded to the ground behind him.

"..."

"Big bro!! Talk to me! Are we-- Did we... lose?"

Sounds of someone trying to get up.

"N-No... We're fine, we can make it through--"

Sounds of someone falling, slamming onto the floor.

"No... We didn't lose..."

Yoriichi turned around and stared at them. Tears rolled down Daki's disintegrating cheeks.

"I don't want to die... Not right now," She looked furiously at Yoriichi, her eyes still wet. "Not by this person...!!"

She burst into noisy wails.

"How could someone be so shamelessly strong?! It's not our fault we bumped into him, so why are we dying?!" She stared into Yoriichi's eyes.

"That's because you've killed thousands of people, you two," Yoriichi sheathed his sword. "I am just a physical form of the hate and anger from those that you have slaughtered."

Daki stared at Yoriichi with overflowing tears that soon dissolved with herself.

A panicked shout rang out.

"Ume!!"

Yoriichi looked toward the sound. The brother, only a head now, just shouted a name. Her real name, maybe?

The brother, ignorant of his fading limbs, stared straight at the little pieces of Daki that were still on the ground. But even a cell isn't his nor hers to keep anymore. He wouldn't be able to keep his own body, either.

He seemed to have made his choice. The wind blew. He closed his eyes, allowing his last tears to sink into the ground, and disappeared.

Finally, over.

Yoriichi sighed and sat down, all sword and stress.

...

Wait a second.

Wind?

Yoriichi picked himself up and the same moment Tengen precipitated himself through the roof. The roof, unable to hold him, broke and fell with a crash.

This was too much for the floor.

It collapsed.

Yoriichi always knew Tengen was trouble.

Dodging sash after sash was getting exhausting for Inosuke and Zenitsu.

Hazy of Tanjiro's fight up on ground, they fought a split body of the sash demon down at the food lair.

Overpowering the tiny little separate sash, Inosuke went for it's head.

"HHHHHHHHAUUUUUGGUHHHHHHH!"

The sash gave a great scream and faded, leaving dozens of people on the ground.

The room stilled.

Chills ran up Inosuke's spine.

The atmosphere froze.

The demon is defeated.

However, Inosuke's sword hadn't even touched the demon yet.

"..."

Zenitsu, still asleep, sheathed his sword with no hesitation as Inosuke hadn't.

"It's alright, Inosuke, I don't hear the demon anymore."

Inosuke stared at Zenitsu.

"Maybe you should stay asleep forever."

The asleep Zenitsu broke a smile(???) and the two left with the humans, all safe.

Apart from a fright, the people downstairs who witnessed the alarming scene of Tengen falling through the floors had no injuries.

"Uzui-san... You could have landed on someone..."

Yoriichi was honestly disappointed.

"Hey, I was hurrying here because I heard the demon! It was a Upper Moon, wasn't it!?"

"That's right-- but why did you have to come so quickly, it had already died!"

Tengen had a mysterious shade of pink on his face. Yoriichi decided not to question further.

"On the topic, Upper Moon six is no more, rest at ease."

Tengen gave a great laugh.

"Defeating demons like taking steps, I envy you!"

He flashed a grin.

"Thank you, Uzui-san."

Yoriichi picked his sword back up.

"It's really been too long, I need to check on Nezuko back at the Wisteria house..."

The sun peeked out of the distant mountains. Dawn had arrived much quicker than Yoriichi ahd expected.

"Go on, red boy."

Leaving Tengen, Yoriichi hopped out of the half-broken house and down the streets, leaving the district.

Somehow, it felt wrong.

The air was so... hazy like.

Nevertheless, Yoriichi continued his cheerful skip toward the wisteria house.

Yoriichi heard a voice before seeing the house itself.

"Nezuko Kamado."

No one knows Nezuko's name except Yoriichi and familiar friends.

It's him.

Again.

Yoriichi won't lose his mind like last time.
