Fever Dream Green (Discontinued)

I get out of the van and look around to see Lily already out, gazing up at the apartment block. She sees me perring at her, and sighs. "It's amazing, isn't it? Beautiful."
I was about to agree when Aggie said, "Godsake, Lil. It's a ruddy building, not a piece of artwork. Now come and help me get my bags out."
Me and Lily carry our bags into the building, Aggie carrying hers and cursing under her breath.

I walk into the building. The walls are painted teal, for some reason, like the van. I'm expecting a rainbow anytime soon. If there was it would look like the children's ward of a hospital.

Apart from that it looks like a normal apartment building. I hear music blasting out from the higher levels, and smell food, which reminds me of the fact I haven't eaten anything substantial in hours.

As we clambour up the stairs, I spot more and more. On the first floor I spot the pier entrance, a faded sign still there. There are shops in the building, surprisingly. A cafe here, a tatoo parlour there.( I don't know who would get a tatoo in a sketchy apartment block, to be honest. I wouldn't.) It's like a city. A terrarium for humans. The building revolves around the main staircase, which is wide and moves in a square shape, leaving a big space in the middle. I peer down, and the bottom of it is filled with plants. It's very nice, if a bit wierd. It's set out very strangely, and I'm doing a very shit job at explaining it.

Im shit at explaining things. Sorry.

There doesn't seem to be a lift, god knows why, because we have to climb eight flights of stairs to get to our apartment. I'm gasping for breath by the time we reach our door, and so is Lily. Aggie's language has once again gotten more colourful.
"You ready kid?"
"Stop calling me kid. You sound like a middle aged man."
"Never!"
"Just open the bloody door, will you?"
And with that, Lily opens the door up.
