The next morning after Izaya had managed to make a temporary truce with Shizuo he called his secretary Namie. "Yo Namie san. Why are you not here yet, you're late for work. Such behavior is unfitting for my secretary." He said in an almost taunting tone. "So, you're still alive after all. You really are hard to get rid of. Too bad, I was hoping I wouldn't have to come in for work today. " Namie said, sounding genuinely disappointed. "How rude. If you keep saying such things I may begin to think you hate me." Izaya remarked. "And yes I lived. I managed to get Shizu~chan to leave without attacking me or damaging anything... other than the door." He added. "Since when do you have mind control abilities?" Namie asked. Though it was sort of a joke, to her the only way Izaya could have made Shizuo leave without any fighting was hypnosis or mind control.
"Doesn't matter. Just come to work. Oh and bring me a black coffee from the café." Izaya ordered before hanging up on. The raven haired man then looked at the screen of his computer. He had been mostly honest with Shizuo. But there was one major thing he left out, the reason Izaya truly wanted Deadwolv gone. Each one of Deadwolv's victims were not just criminals, or had connections to criminals. Each one had at one point in their lives made dealings with a notorious gang known as the Shirois. And unfortunately, Izaya too had connections to them in the past. So, if this creature was truly following a pattern, it may eventually target Izaya.
And though Izaya was cocky, and even seemingly careless. He was not stupid enough to think he could take Deadwolv on by himself, and survive the process. He also knew the Awakusu Kai had also made dealings in the past. So being the good informant he is, he had called Haruya Shiki earlier and warned him that he and the rest of the Awakusu Kai could be in danger. Izaya sighed looking at the computer. There was already another report of Deadwolv killing someone again. This time the victim was a member of a gang known for dealing illegal drugs, including date rape drugs.
The informant knew without even doing a background check that this victim had dealings with the Shirois. He knew this because, the Shirois wasn't an ordinary gang. They were a group that among other things, dealt in kidnapping women and children, and selling them on the black market for sex. So it made perfect sense they would be making dealings with someone who sells date rape drugs. Though, there was one thing that confused Izaya. Why did Deadwolv kill some victims, while only beating the shit out of others? Was there something about the ones he killed that triggered his rage even more?
Izaya sighed, and looked at the chat room entries on his computer. It was oddly dead, no one using the server at the moment. As he was about to log off for now, he saw someone logged in.

Bacura has entered the chat.
Bacura: Hello? Anyone home XD.
Bacura: So am I the only one here? Don't tell me you all got killed by the monster.
Setton has entered the chat.
Setton: Hey Bacura. No I don't think Deadwolv killed everyone. Everyone is probably busy.
Bacura: Yo Setton! How have you been?
Setton: Am well. Been busy with work though.
Bacura: Ah I see. Have you heard the new rumors about Deadwolv? Some people are claiming he is actually some form of demon.
Setton: I doubt that.
Bacura: Oh? His killings are too brutal for a human. And there is talk that only some of the victims remains were found. As in each one missing body parts.
Setton: Okay that is creepy.
Bacura: Yeah. Some think he is actually eating his victims.
Saika has entered the chat.
Saika: That is very disturbing.
Bacura: I know. I hope it doesn't show up in my neighborhood.
Setton: I am sure you're safe. After all according to all the reports he only attacks people who have connections to gangs.
Bacura: Yeah, I am totally safe then.... >.>
Setton: ???
Saika: Ah?
Kanra has entered the chat.
Kanra: I don't think the killer is a demon. But he may be a zombie. So him eating his victims makes sense.
Saika: How do you know that?
Bacura: It's Kanra. Kanra knows everything. They are a busy body who gets into other peoples business.
Kanra: How rude. Bacura is always so mean to me.
Bacura: Aw, it's just how I show my love~ It's not like I actually hate you, or fantasize Deadwolv will kill you.
Setton: Guys if you are going to fight please do so in the DMs.
Kanra has sent you a DM
Kanra: I know you hate me. So why pretend you don't when online?
Bakura: What do you want now bastard.
Kanra: You must be terrified huh. A killer on the loose attacking gang members. And you being a leader of a gang and all.
Bakura: I'll be fine. I can handle myself.
Kanra: True, but can Mikado handle himself? He too runs a gang after all. What if Deadwolv decides to butcher him?
Bakura: ...
Kanra: So you are worried for him. Maybe you should return to Ikebukuro huh? Just to make sure your friend doesn't end up in the evening news.
Bacura: Why would you even care?
Kanra: I can't worry for others without it being odd?
Bacura: No, you can't Whenever you act concern you are actually planning something.
Kanra: Usually you would be right. But for once I am actually trying to help. I learned a pattern of Deadwolv's killings. The ones he kills have connections to a certain gang known as the Shirois.
Kanra: And, unknown to your friend Mikado, a Shiroi is a member of the Dollars. So he is in danger.
Kanra: And, your newest member of the Yellow Scarves. Minato. Is a Shiroi as well. so you are also in danger.
Bacura: ...
Kanra: Wait, don't tell me. You knew about Minato? You do know who the Shirois are right?
Bacura: Well...
Kanra: Then why on earth would you associate yourself with him. Unless. Ah, is he somehow blackmailing you?
Bacura: Shut up and drop dead.
Bacura has left the dm.
Bacura has left the chat.

Izaya logged off the chat, with an eerie smile on his face. The devilish informant began to wonder what sort of dirt the Shiroi's were holding against Kida Masaomi, to make him allow one of their men to be in his gang.
