It had been two weeks since Chikage brought a half conscious Deadwolv to Shinra Kishitani. The underground doctor promised he would do his best to save Deadwolv. Since then, the play boy hadn't heard from either the doctor, or the killer. Neither had the rest of Ikebukuro heard of Deadwolv. He seemingly vanished altogether. Which made Chikage fear Deadwolv died.
Chikage also heard rumors that the informant Izaya Orihara had vanished as well. Most assumed he finally pissed the wrong person off and got killed. Shizuo also heard about Izaya's latest disappearance act. And he highly suspected it had to do with Izaya's current condition of being an undead. Though, no one really cared either way if Izaya was dead, or just hiding.
The ladies man made his way to Russia Sushi for some food. He also wanted to check on Kodato and his gang. He had heard Erika had been injured pretty badly not too long agon, and he wanted to make sure she was okay. He arrived at the restaurant and made his way to the booth the van gang sat at.
Erika was sitting next to Walker. The otaku was still adjusting to having only one eye, though she did seem to enjoy the badass eye patch she got. It was red leather with a black silk rose sewn onto it. Walker though, had barely left her side since she was able to go home after the injury. Kadota saw how much Walker was worried over the idea of losing Erika, and he began to realize. Walker saw Erika as more than a friend. He knew, Walker was in love with his otaku friend.
Kadota was happy though that Erika was safe. And that the city was calm once again. No more undead killers, or vampires. He wasn't sure what became of the vampire stalking the city at night, nor what happened to Deadwolv. But as long as they were gone, he was happy.
As the van gang and their playboy friend were eating, a familiar face walked in. "Come on Frenchy. I am hungry, and this place sells good sushi." Safri said practically dragging her bodyguard into the restaurant. Chikage looked up seeing the young lady. Like the first time he saw her, she had several bandages on her body. He frowned seeing this, still wondering who was hurting her.
Safri ordered a plate of California rolls and sat down to eat them with her bodyguard. Her bodyguard seemed distant, and uninterested in the sushi. Once Safri was finished , her bodyguard paid for the meal, and she got up to leave. Though she stopped as she noticed the van gang and Chikage.
"Oh, I remember you. You're the one who attacked Ivan with garlic." She said softly looking at Erika. Erika smiled at that comment, remembering how awesome it felt to do that, that is until Ivan fought back. "Yeah, we actually want to thank you for helping Erika that night." Kadota said. "By the way, how did you know that fem fatal?" Walker asked her. "You mean Anna Maria? I knew her since I was a kid. She, actually saved my life once. Thanks to her I managed to survive a serious injury, and find a new home and family."
"Ah?" Chikage questioned looking at her curiously. "My family died when I was little, and I was seriously injured. Anna found me and helped me recover. Because of that the Junkomori family eventually found me and adopted me." Safri explained. "Oh, I am so sorry about your family..." Kadota said, surprised to hear her story. "Err, anyways. I am Yumasaki. But you can call me Walker, and this is Erika, Saburo, Kadota, and Chikage." Walker said changing the subject. Safri smiled and shook each of their hands, saving Chikage for last.
As she shook his hand, he noticed her right thumb had a scar around it, as if it was once severed and reattached. "My name is Safri Junkomori. But please, call me by my old name. Emily. Emily Wolv." She said the last part softly so only he heard it. On her face, a familiar cocky grin. A wave of realization washed over Chikage. The hypnotic blue eyes, the all too familiar smile, the cut finger. It was never James Wolv back for revenge. But his daughter. He stood there in shock, unable to say anything as she turned to leave. "Perhaps I will see you again, cutie." She added leaving the restaurant with her bodyguard.
