Haruya arrived at Izaya's apartment and knocked at the door. The informant opened the door letting his boss in. "Hey Shiki san." He said with a smirk, gesturing for his boss to sit on the couch. Haruya sat down, and looked at Izaya with a cold glare. "Eh, something wrong Shiki san? You usually arrange these meetings at your place or even in your car. Not here at my apartment." Izaya said, noticing how upset Haruya looked.

"I have a question. And I want a truthful answer." Haruya said in a emotionless tone. Izaya tilted his head, beginning to feel nervous about his boss' demeanor. "Okay. Then what is it Shiki San?" He asked with a nervous smile. "You're a vampire?" Haruya asked. Though, it was more of a statement. Izaya froze for a moment then smiled. "Ah, wondered how long Shiki san would take to figure it out. Hehe.." He laughed softly. "I see. So it is true." Haruya sighed in disappointment , and pulled out his gun. The informant's now crimson eyes widened, though Haruya couldn't tell because of Izaya's sunglasses.

"Shi,Shiki san?" He stuttered, realizing his boss meant to kill him.  Haruya aimed the gun at Izaya's heart. "Before I kill you, I want to know why you attacked Mizuki." Haruya said, glaring at the informant. Izaya looked oddly puzzled at this question. "What. What makes you think I would attack Akabayashi san?" Izaya questioned. Haruya pulled out the fur from his pocket, holding it up for Izaya to see. Izaya looked at it. "That's not mine Shiki san." He said calmly. "My coat has a lighter brown than that." He said, hoping he could convince Haruya to spare him. Haruya paused, wanting to believe Izaya. "Prove it." He said softly.

Izaya went to his room, with Haruya following him. He then reached in his closet and pulled out his coat. He then handed it to Haruya. Haruya examined the coat. And what the informant said was true. The fur trim on Izaya's coat was lighter than the fur in his hand. Not to mention the fur Haruya had was thicker, and more rough in texture. He then looked at Izaya. "If you didn't attack Mizuki. Then who did?" He asked.

"Well quite simple Shiki san. Clearly I haven't always been a vampire. Which means someone turned me rather recently huh? Therefor it stands to reason the one who turned me is the one attacking your men and Akabayashi san." Izaya explained. "I see. So who turned you?" Haruya asked. "That's the problem. I don't know their name or their motive yet. But I do know what they look like. It was a woman. Tall, very pale. Red eyes, long red hair in a bun,and wears a white dress that looks like a burial shroud almost. You know. The cliche vampire fem fatale. " Izaya explained.

"As to how she managed to turn me. Well. I was doing that job for you a little over a month ago to spy on the Shiroi gang. I guess I wasn't as quiet as I thought I was being. And one of them saw me. And the bastard shot me. I managed to escape, and even make it home. But I passed out before I could call for help. When I woke up I saw this woman in my bedroom. I thought I was either dreaming. Or maybe she was some form of angel of death or Valkyrie. But, she just smiled at me. Then before I could say anything she turned into a crow and flew out my window." Izaya explained to his boss.

Haruya listened. The story sounded too fantastical to be real.  And because of that, he knew it was real. Izaya would never make up something so unbelievable. He was far too clever for that. But one thing didn't fully make sense. If the vampire wears a white dress, then why did Mizuki have brown fur in his hand. Though Izaya said she turned into a crow. And many vampire tales claim vampires can turn into all sorts of animals. So perhaps the vampire turned into some form of animal with brown fur when attacking Mizuki.

Haruya stared at Izaya debating what to do. Should he trust the informant and spare him? Or kill him now before he can stab the Yakuza in the back. "One more question." He said coldly. Izaya looked at him curiously. "Have you attacked anyone for blood since you became like this?" He asked. Hoping Izaya would say no. "No I haven't. There is a street market on the outskirts of the city which sells allot of delicacies and rare food items. Among their items is drinks created from the blood of animals. I buy those for feeding." Izaya explained, and even opened his fridge to show Haruya a can of some strange blood drink. Haruya sighed. "I see."

"For now. I will let you live. But I am ordering several of my men to keep a close eye on you at all times. If you do anything I see as a threat. I will have you killed. Got it?" He said in a threatening tone. Izaya nodded. Haruya then turned to leave. "And, I want you to locate the vampire who attacked Mizuki. I will have that one killed." Haruya added as he left. Izaya sighed as his boss left. At least for now the executive believed him, and was sparing his life. But now, Izaya would have to be very careful as to not do anything the Yakuza may see as a threat. Even as a vampire, the informant doubted he could easily out run and out fight all of the Awakusu Kai if they chose to kill him,
