Simon was outside Russia Sushi trying to get customers when a young lady and rather intimidating man walked by. The lady appeared to be more a teen than adult. Though, probably late teens like eighteen or seventeen. She had long dark brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and a face that looked more like a china doll. She wore a tank top, that was cut off just below the breasts exposing her waist, and short shorts. Though oddly her right hand, and even her waist was wrapped in somewhat bloody looking bandages.
The man with her appeared foreign. Tall, lean, but muscular. He hard dark curly brown hair, pale blue eyes, and tan skin. He wore a simple black suit that almost looked like a butler suit. Simon smiled. "Welcome welcome! Russia Sushi best sushi. Travel on empty stomach very bad. We offer best sushi for best price. Our sushi no make you sick." He said in his best Japanese. The man looked at Simon then grabbed the girl to pull her away. But the girl refused to move. "Sushi actually sounds good to me. Come on Frenchy." She told the man. The man looked at her and spoke in a language Simon recognized as french. Making him understand why the girl called him that.
"Young miss knows good food when she sees it." Simon insisted. The man sighed and went inside with the girl, then spoke in japanese. "We really should be heading home now Safri. Your father will be worried if we are late." He said in an almost scolding like tone. "Oh please. I'm an adult, I don't need my old man panicking over me." She retorted sitting down. "Besides, I am not a fragile little doll, like everyone seems to think I am." She added. The man sighed and sat down by her. "That is not what I mean Safri." He said. "I know what you mean. I am safe now. It doesn't matter anymore." "Says the girl who looks as if she was hit by a truck." The man interrupted her. She glared slightly at him.
Sitting in the corner of the restaurant was the van gang and Chikage. He had told them about Deadwolv's claim to need his help. Which Kadota doubted was a good idea. The man was trying to convince Chikage to avoid the killer at all costs, but noticed Chikage was no longer paying attention. "Ah?" He questioned. Then looked in the direction Chikage was staring. Kadota sighed seeing a young attractive woman sitting at the bar of the restaurant. "Seriously, even now you cannot help but stare at a beauty?" He asked.
"It's not that she is pretty old man Kadota. Though I admit she is rather exquisite. But she appears to be injured. And looks upset." Chikage explained. Kadota sighed knowing how Chikage always wanted to be the hero for any woman he sees. "Maybe she had an accident. She is probably fine." Saburo said, swatting Walker's hand away from his plate of food. Walker pouted wanting to try the sushi on Saburo's plate. While Saburo was busy fending off Walker from his food, Erika snagged a piece of sushi with her chopstick and snuck it to Walker, before grabbing another piece for herself. "Hey wait!?" Saburo exclaimed noticing two of his sushi was now missing. Erika an Walker laughed and gave each other a high five for the perfect heist.
Meanwhile, as this was happening Chikage got up to approach the young lady at the bar. Before he could reach her he noticed the man with her grab her by her wrist rather firmly. "We need to go now. You finished your food, I paid. Now let's go." He said in a firm voice. But the girl seemed to resist slightly. "Hey! That is no way to treat a lady." Chikage said walking closer. The man looked up at Chikage. "This doesn't concern you. Now leave me and my young mistress alone." He said, in a heavy french accent. "Mistress eh?" Chikage tilted his head. The term mistress was often used to describe a woman you are having an affair with, so this term took Chikage by surprise. Mainly because the girl looked far too young for the man.
The girl looked at Chikage with an odd look on her face. He couldn't tell if it was fear, or surprise. "Miss are you okay? Do you need someone to help you get home?" Chikage asked the young lady. She shook her head. "I am fine. This is my father's employee. He takes his role as my guardian a little too serious is all." She said explaining to the play boy who the man with her was. "Oh? Well he should treat a lady more gently." Chikage said. The girl smiled softly. "Trust me it's okay. He wouldn't hurt me. " The girl then bowed and left with the man. Chikage watched her leave, frowning. Something about her, made him feel as if he actually knew her. Maybe he met her somewhere before? But surely he would remember such a beautiful face. So, who was she? And why did she need a man to be her guardian? Not to mention, where did those injuries come from.

Later the same day, Haruya Shiki received a call. The number was one he did not recognize, nor could he trace. But the person on the other end wasn't Izaya, instead a female voice. Though the voice was clearly disguising itself it was obviously female. "Haruya Shiki of the Awakusu Kai?" The voice asked. Haruya raised an eyebrow. "Who is this?" He asked. " A friend who has info you need." The voice said. "Sorry I already have an informant." Haruya remarked about to hang up. "An informant who knows next to nothing about the vampire. When I know the name of the vampire, and her motives." The voice said abruptly before he could hang up.
The executive paused, then spoke up. "What do you know about her?" -"For starters, her name is Anna Maria. She is tall, pale, red hair, red eyes, pale skin and wears a white dress. It can be mistaken for a burial shawl. But is actually more or less her wedding dress. She is forced to wear it to show she is owned." The voice explained. "Owned...?" Haruya was puzzled now.
"She was turned by a male vampire known simply as Ivan. He is old, probably ancient. He acts as her master, and husband. Though to be honest she despises him greatly and would kill him if she could. " The voice continued to explain. "As for her motives. The attacks is her finding a new husband. The rules of a vampire slave is, if they can create and control a mate, then they are freed from their bonds to their owner. Think of it as a strange vampire divorce. She can tell by the taste of one's blood if they are worthy to be her mate. If they are not she abandons them. The surviving victims are hers. Including your informant Orihara. Considering she actually turned him suggests she may seduce him soon."
As Haruya listened, he noticed this girl said that the surviving victims were attacked by this female vampire. But, what of the victims who died? "Now you may wonder. If she isn't hunting to kill. Then why are there dead ones? Simple. Her master has followed her here to Japan. And unlike her, he kills to eat. And sometimes kills just for fun. He is tall. Muscular. Old yet handsome. And wears a thick dark brown fur coat. If he targets someone, chances of that person surviving is highly unlikely." The voice told him. Hearing this Haruya's eyes widened. A dark brown fur coat. Like the fur found on Mizuki. Which meant this Ivan bastard attacked Mizuki.
"Why tell me all of this?" Haruya finally asked after a few moments of silence. "As I said. I am a friend." "If you were a friend you would tell me your name. And not disguise your voice." He interrupted her. "Usually you would be right. But for now it's best to keep my name a secret. I will say this much. I am part of the Junkomori family." The voice explained, before hanging up. Haruya sat there thinking. He knew the Junkomori family. They were a fellow Yakuza family. And one that the Awakusu family got along with well. If the girl was telling the truth that she was part of the Junkomori clan, then he should trust her. But why hide her actual name?
