Deadwolv stalks the playboy.

Chikage was on his way home after one of his group dates with his 'harem'. The ladies man had been trying his best to forget about his encounter with Deadwolv. Especially the kiss. He couldn't understand why the killer would do that instead of merely killing him. And the way Deadwolv had kept calling him cute, made it even more unsettling. It was now almost nighttime, and most people were already home. Ever since the first attack, people had been avoiding staying out at night, unless they absolutely had to. Even then they would usually be in a group and not alone.

As Chikage walked, he noticed a group of people to his left. It was a colored gang. He knew this since he had a run in with them once before. Their leader Shuyi had been known to be a little rough with his girlfriend. Which had led to Chikage getting in a fight with the man, before convincing the girl to leave Shuyi. So naturally this particular gang hated the biker gang leader. Chikage assumed by the fact they weren't looking at him that they either didn't notice him. Or were not in a fighting mood tonight.

He continued walking, and was halfway home when he realized he was wrong. Not only had the gang noticed him, but now they were following him. At first he wasn't too worried. Wasn't the first time he fought more than one punk at a time. But then he remembered he had lost his Kabutowari when he fought Deadwolv. And Shuyi's men always carried weapons. Which meant Chikage was unarmed, and his opponents were not. So the fight would be anything but fair.

He decided to try and avoid the fight by walking faster and using some back alleys to escape them. Unfortunately they stayed rather close behind him. He began to wonder how many of them he would be able to take down before he would most likely lose the fight, when he felt a hand grab him from behind. "Kyah!" He gasped as someone pulled him into another alley. His eyes widened when he noticed the hand on his shoulder was wearing a black glove, with metal claws and metal spikes on the knuckles. "Oh shit." He muttered realizing it had to be none other than the killer Deadwolv who grabbed him.

"Relax cutie I ain't gonna hurt you." The all to familiar calm voice responded. A slight shiver went down Chikage's spine hearing the voice. "You seem to have about six men following you. One of which is carrying a gun in his hoodie. You're lucky I'm the one who caught you and not them." Deadwolv said softly into Chikage's ear.

Both Deadwolv and Chikage could hear multiple footsteps approaching, and some voices. "He went over here I think!" One of the voices shouted, entering the alley. The gang all froze the moment they saw Chikage, being held from behind by Deadwolv. Four of the gang members ran away leaving the other two behind. The two who stayed tried to remain calm. "Oi, demon. That bastard is our prey. So back off and find someone else." The older of the two said, acting tough. Though inside he was panicking.

"Oh, you want to come over here and take him from me?" Deadwolv remarked with a smirk, showing his left hand was holding his katana. "Hehe, on second thoughts. You can have him." The punk said, before grabbing his friend and running. Deadwolv laughed softly. The laughter was odd. It didn't sound malicious, or cruel like Deadwolv's voice often did. It sounded, almost friendly. Chikage looked at him, fearing what the killer was now going to do to him. "I actually got something for you." Deadwolv said, having stopped laughing rather abruptly. "...Oh...?" Was all Chikage could say.

Deadwolv reached into his trench coat and pulled something out. It was Chikage's Kabutowari. He then reached it towards Chikage as if offering to return it. Chikage looked at his blade, wanting to take it back. But fearful this was some odd trap. "Go on take it." Deadwolv said. Chikage took a deep breath and reached for it. He figured if it is a trap, but he can grab the blade, he may be able to fight back. As he grabbed the Kabutowari Deadwolv's free hand grabbed him by the wrist.

Shit I knew it was a trap. He thought to himself. Deadwolv looked him in the eyes. The killers eyes looked more like bright sapphires than eyes. Chikage couldn't help but realize how oddly pretty and almost hypnotic they were. He then blushed slightly and cursed himself internally for thinking of a man as pretty. Let alone a man who was a monster, and was most likely about to kill him. "Just one little thing. Don't try and ever fight me again. Or next time I won't be as nice to help you, and return your weapon." Deadwolv said softly, releasing his grasp on Chikage's wrist.

The play boy stared at Deadwolv confused. The killer wasn't trying to hurt him. It was letting him go? Deadwolv tipped his hat as if to say goodbye, then left. "By the way, I may come looking for you again sooner or later." He said before vanishing into the night.

It had been a week since Chikage ran into Deadwolv for the second time. Since then the Deadwolv killings and attacks seemed to have stopped. Though the vampire attacks were happening more often. Chikage knew Deadwolv was still lurking around though. He knew this because he had been seeing the killer's shadow out of the corner of his eye every now and then, and at nighttime would sometimes catch a glimpse of Deadwolv outside his window. The playboy was uncertain if Deadwolv was truly stalking him, or if he was losing his mind. Either way, he wanted it to stop.

He had finally gathered enough courage to tell someone what was happening. And he decided to tell Kadota and his gang. Since he trusted the man, and his friends. As strange as they were, they were also friendly and understanding when someone needed help. He decided to visit them during the daytime though. Since it was less likely for Deadwolv to show up during the day. "Yo old man Kadota." Chikage called out with a smile as he approached the van gang.

Kadota looked up. "Ah Chikage. Good to see you. Haven't heard from you in a while." He said. "Yeah we thought you were dead." Erika said smiling, half joking half serious. Kadota looked at the younger man, and could tell something was bothering him. "You okay? You look like you haven't had much sleep." He asked,  noticing some dark circles under Chikage's eyes.

"I, ran into Deadwolv again last week. Well, more like he grabbed me and pulled me into an alley." Chikage said, sounding nervous. Erika's eyes widened, as Walker gasped. "Oddly enough. He, didn't try to hurt me. He, actually, rescued me from some old enemies of mine who were chasing me." He said sitting down on the curb by the van. "Wait, seriously? He saved you?" Saburo asked. Surprised the killer would save anyone.

Kadota scratched his chin, deep in thought. "Did he say anything as to why he saved you?" Erika asked. "Not really. But he said he may come looking for me again later on." Chikage said looking down. "Strange. First he calls you cute, then kisses you, then saves your life. Now he claims he may come for you again." Erika gasped. "He's in love with you!!" As she said this Chikage's eyes widened in shock and horror. "What!?!" He shouted in surprise. Though, he had actually thought the same thing himself already.

"No. I don't think it's love or lust he has in mind." Kadota finally spoke up. Erika looked at him curiously. "Oh then what is it?" She questioned. "Think of it this way. Chikage is a well known ladies man. What better way to destroy the mind of a ladies man than for a man to taunt him sexually, trying to make him question his own sexuality? Simply put. Deadwolv is trying to shatter Chikage's mind. To weaken him. I think the bastard has a grand scheme. If he was merely killing at random we, Chikage, and many more people would be dead by now. Clearly Deadwolv has a particular motive and plan.  And for some reason, he thinks Chikage may be of use. But prefers breaking his will before involving him." Kadota explained.

"So almost like brainwashing, or even Stockholm syndrome. Toy and taunt him, till Chikage feels he has no choice but to do as he is told." Sabura said, understanding what Kadota meant. Kadota nodded. Chikage felt half relieved that maybe Deadwolv wasn't attracted to him. But now he had a whole new worry. What could the killer possibly need from him?
