Sonic is very curious about this non-open mysterious ebony hedgehog. Wanting all the aggravation between him and Shadow to stop, he tries to find a way for them to become friends. Will Sonic reach his goal and possibly even more?

Sonic's POV: Great, first day of school as a junior and im already in trouble.
I glance at Shadow. "Look, I know we're not the best of buddies but I don't want to get into anything right now, it's the first day of school and i'm just-"
"Shut up faker." Shadow scoffed, not giving a crap about I just said.
Shadow lunged at me but since I expected it, I was prepared and dashed out the way before he could leave a bruise on my face.
Stressed about how school was gonna go, a fight was the last thing I wanted. I ran off home which made me a little upset since I wanted to walk. Hey! at least I got home safe though, Shadow didn't even bother to chase me down. My parents wouldn't have to worry about anything. Why does Shadow dislike me so much. He is the last person I should be thinking about.
I took a long shower. Wondering what Shadow was doing right now. Probably harassing other kids right now. I chuckled as I thought to myself. What was his deal anyway? Right after showering I got called down just in time to eat dinner.
"Thanks for making my favorite Mom!" eating my chili dog happily, it made the stress about school and random thoughts about Shadow go away. I smiled to myself, I could always count on my favorite meal to make days better.
"How was your first day at school Sonic?" questioned my overly protective Mother.
"It was good." I groaned sarcastically, knowing it was really anything but good.
"That's great to hear honey." My Mother said, in a way which I could tell that she knew I was lying.
"If anything happens you can always tell me and your dad, we're always here for you Sonic!" Mom looked over at Dad. He was reading a newspaper. Mom sighed.
I went upstairs to my room, flopped on my bed, and turned on my phone. I sadly didn't get any classes with Knuckles or Tails. Going in our group chat, I texted a "Are you guys busy?" to them, hoping to get a reply soon, It's been a week since the last time I've talked to them. Being busy with getting ready for the new school year, and buying all the required supplies really took up a lot of time.
I smiled when Tails and Knuckles replied. "Nope!" "Not at all!" We ended up calling and Knuckles mentioned a 'Start of school' party that he was going to host tomorrow. I was invited of course, along with some of my other friends which made me glad, because if I went, I wouldn't be lonely figuring Knuckles would be busy accompanying his guests. I was definitely going to the party and said yes without any thinking. I was so down for it, last time I've been to a party was last year!
Our group call ended up lasting for hours, it got late and I went to sleep. Calling this a decent day, (or should I say night haha.) I pulled my sheets over my head getting into a comfortable position. Tomorrow will be a better day. I thought to myself while drifting off into deep sleep.
