Chapter 18: Green hedgehog

Sonic's POV: The group date was over. Everyone left after finishing their milkshakes, Shadow went home too, since his fire alarm went off. I wish Shadow had brought me with him!! He didn't want to take me because if there was actually a fire, i'd be in danger.

It was pretty dark outside, 9:12PM. Damn, time passes by so fast! I thought. I started to head home. As I was walking, I heard sounds in the bushes. Not gonna lie, i'm kinda scared. I wanted to run home so bad, but I couldn't. My foot wasn't fully recovered. I continued walking as I heard more sounds. Where the hell is this sound coming from?! I turned around and...*POW* I was punched in the face. I felt dazed and everything looked hazy. I had passed out.

Shadow's POV: I chaos controlled to my place, my house didn't seem to be on fire. But my garage was. Chaos sake! How did this even happen? I quickly got a bucket of water from the ocean, and chaos controlled back. I went back and forth, scooping up water and splashing it in my garage. I had finally made a safe entrance so I could cool down the inside. I walked in the garage, expecting the worst. Luckily, the garage was okay. There were only a few scratches and some black burnt parts. Phew, my garage won't collapse. I started cleaning the place up, blowing away all the ashes when I noticed something was missing! Where the fuck is my motorcycle? I sighed and continued cleaning. Someone must've stole my motorcycle and left this fire. Who the hell would do that? I knew that I fought people many times, but that was in the past. Would anyone really be that mad to get revenge after three years??! I needed to figure out who stole the motorcycle and set the fire. I was so infuriated.
I finished cleaning up the place, my mind was too focused on finding the thief. I started to look for clues and found red shades on the garage floor. Half of it was burnt, but the shades looked really familiar. I definitely don't own these, why do I feel like i've seen this before? Then it hit me. That green hedgehog I saved from the capsule! He had the exact same shades. I need to find him! I went to the hospital, bringing the shades to get more information.

Sonic's POV: "Woah...where am I?" I looked around. Oh shit!! I was in a cage!! There were no windows. This must be an underground dungeon! I got so scared. Who would do this to me?! I saw a few animal skeletons but I just guessed they were fake. "Whoever captured me, definitely hates me.." I groaned. Where is Shadow? He should be done putting the fire out by now! I reached back to grab my phone, It was gone!! What do I do now.. Thats when a green hedgehog walked down the steps of the dungeon.

He smirked. "Well, well, well, what do we have here? Long time no see Sonic~"

I couldn't believe my eyes. "SCOURGE!!" Scourge was one of my old enemies, he was the evil version of me and he'd always have a desire for power. Of course I kept him from obtaining the power, because he'd use it for evil.

"Now that you're locked up in here, I want to make a deal~" Scourge looked very pleased.

"Whatever, just let me out!"

"Sonic, you should know your place. Don't disrespect me."

"Haha! As if you can do anything! The only way you can hurt me is by opening the cage!" I rolled my eyes.

"I had a little talk with your friend Tails, in the hospital."

"What? How do you know-?" I was starting to feel uneasy.

"That fox was brainless, he told me everything about your foot. If I open this cage, you won't be able to run away."

"Tails wouldn't tell you a thing!!"

"He would, if he thought I was someone else~" Scourge pulled out a costume of Shadow.

"That exists?" I questioned.
