Sonic is very curious about this non-open mysterious ebony hedgehog. Wanting all the aggravation between him and Shadow to stop, he tries to find a way for them to become friends. Will Sonic reach his goal and possibly even more?

(Skipped to Monday) Sonic's POV: *Yawns* "ah! I finally got a good nights rest." I stretched and got out of my bed, only to almost trip over nothing. "GAH! I need to be more careful!" I said while catching myself. I got dressed, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs. My parents were at work, I ate breakfast and left, walking to school since it was quite early.
I got to the high school a lil too early, sitting down by the water fountain, I went on my phone. Before I even sent a text, my phone was slapped right out of my hands. "Hey!! What's your problem?!?!" I yelled. Not even bothering to see who it was.
"I'm not surprised you're here already, faker." A deep voice. It hit me, that was Shadow.
I jumped back. "What do you want from me?!?"
Shadow's POV: "I don't want anything from you." that was a lie. I kicked Sonic hard and he fell to the ground. Watching him struggle to get up, I shot a punch at him. "Your weakness disgusts me," I hiss.
Sonic glares at me. "Weak? Who are you calling weak huh? You're not all that you know." To a blink of an eye, Sonic gets up, he throws punches at me, I punch him back, we start attacking each other non-stop. Dodging all of Sonic's moves while he's dodging mine, gets this fight heated up. I chaos controlled behind Sonic and punched him hard. He fell down in pain.
"Agh..! what the hell Shadow!? Th-this..isn't fair."
I smirk slyly as Sonic slowly turns to me. Just as I was about to kill him, he says five words that stop me.
"Why do you hate me?"
Before I thought about it, Sonic jumped right back up, grabbed his phone, and punched me in the eye. He ran away and I let him go. Now wondering to myself, why do I hate him? Everything becomes a blur, why is this so hard to think about..before I know it, darkness takes over and shades the light from the outside, shades the trees, animals, the school, everything. It was all black.
Sonic's POV: Yess!! I finally got a hit on Shadow, the ultimate life form!! Happily thinking to myself. "Though how would it be like if I were friends with him..?" I ask myself. "PFTT HAHA There's no way i'd have a chance of being friends with Shadow!! He hates me so much for whatever reason!!" What reason? I start to wonder. If I didn't punch him, would he have answered the question I asked him? Probably not. This is something I need to figure out. It would actually be cool if me and Shadow were best buds, the two fastest hedgehogs, that would be an amazing duo. "I need to find a way to get Shadow closer to me. I wanna be his friend! I dislike the fights with Shadow so much, it always happens at the most calm, peaceful, time I have." How can I ever enjoy walks and the beauty of nature outside when Shadow keeps jumping out of no where interrupting my relaxation.
I check my smartwatch, about fifteen more minutes before school starts. Shadow must've left by now, I thought to myself. I dashed back to the fountain to see Shadow there. Still there. But not moving. Had he passed out? I saw a few busses arriving at the school already. Knowing what's best, I picked up Shadow and brought him to the nurses office. On my way there, I kept staring at Shadows chest fur, it looked so soft..I wanted to touch it. I cursed. Gosh Sonic what were you thinking!! I made it to the nurse without touching Shadows chest fur.
The nurse saw me and Shadow. "This early and we already have a patient?? I'll watch him, you get ready for class."
"Alright, thanks!" I walked out the room as the Nurse smiled and said a 'bye!'
Hoping Shadow was okay, I met up with my friends at the front of the school.
"Tails! Knuckles! Amy..!" I ran over to them. (Tails is really smart, he has a mind of an adult so that's why he's in high school, despite the fact that he's eight.)
"Hey Sonic!" Amy hugged me. "Have you recovered from the drink Silver gave you?"
"That was two days ago, of course I have, uh..thanks for your concern Amy!!"
Amy smiled widely "No problem!! I'm always here for my Sonikku!!"
I sighed. "Yep!! Oh look at the time!! I better head to class..thanks for telling Knux that I passed out at the party two days ago!
"Wait Sonic, there's still seven more min-" I cut off Tails and Knuckles before I ran off. I did not want Amy to cling on my arm, or lay on my shoulder, making me walk her to her class and feeding her when it's lunch. I had to run before I was stuck with her all day. One of my biggest fears for sure!! As I was running, I didn't pay much attention. Only thing on my mind right at this moment was escaping from Amy. I didn't notice there was someone in front of me.
*CRASH!!*
A growl came from who I ran into. "You again." Shadow snarled.
I looked up, "I..I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was heading. i'll be more careful next time!!" I ran away really fast. It could've been my chance to talk to him but I landed right on top of him..on his chest fur. My face was so red, I couldn't let him see me like that. His fur was so soft though, I could've stayed there for hours if Shadow didn't hate me as much. Noo!! Not these weird thoughts about Shadow again. I'm not gay!! I can't believe that. I just wanna be his friend, that's all..!!
Shadow's POV: Why do I keep running into this blue hedgehog for chaos sake, he took my fountain spot this morning, gave me a black eye, caused me to pass out, and now he runs into me!? running away without even a reply from me!? So ignorant. He'll pay for his foolishness. I brushed my chest fur down, Sonic had ran into me and messed it up. The bell rang but I didn't even bother going to class. I was too mad at that hero hedgehog, I needed time to calm down.
Sonic's POV: "Phew!!" I panted in relief, I made it to class without being late after screaming at myself in the mirror at the restroom. I had to vent everything out, if I want to be Shadows friend, I need to stop making things worse, he definitely hates me more than he ever has now. I'm making my own goal harder than how I want it to be. All my thoughts about Shadow, caused me to miss out on half of the lesson. I didn't care for it anyway, It was just the second day of school.
