Sonic is very curious about this non-open mysterious ebony hedgehog. Wanting all the aggravation between him and Shadow to stop, he tries to find a way for them to become friends. Will Sonic reach his goal and possibly even more?

Shadow's POV: I made sure to dodge all the new traps Dr. Eggman had invented. It's been a while since he's attacked Mobius, I wonder what he's up to. I found my way back to the room Sonic was. On the right, there was a door.
⚠️ DANGEROUS CHEMICALS ⚠️
I walked up to the door. "I wonder what this does." I pulled a lever. "Gahh!" I backed away as smoke and dust filled the room. The door had opened!! Inside had a lot of giant capsules, four were occupied. There were two blue hedgehogs, a female and male, just like Sonic. They must be his parents. I kept staring at them. So this is why Sonic is so beautiful. The two other capsules was a green hedgehog. I didn't know who he was but he had red shades, a leather jacket, and a giant scar that looks like it was caused by a large scratch from claws. The capsule next to it had.."Knuckles?!?" I am so confused. They all need to be saved though. Each capsule had a red button on it, I pressed the one with Sonic's Mom in it. The capsule opened easily. Sonic's Mom was unconscious, I was expecting it anyway.
As I was just about to save Sonic's dad...I was interrupted by someone. "YOU THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY THIS EASILY?"
"Dr. Eggman!!" I growled. I watched him laugh as the door shut. I was now trapped. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I punched Eggman and used chaos spear on him.
"huh..?" It seemed as if the chaos spear had done no effect on him. I chaos controlled to different parts of the room, punching and kicking Eggman. It seemed no use, he stood there laughing as if he were invincible. I was getting weak, but still teleporting. Eggman reached out with robotic arms and grabbed my leg faster than lights speed. "Impossible..!" I growl. He swung and threw me on the floor. Lucky for me, my head had hit another red button. Knuckles was free, and he was conscious!
Knuckles jumped up and said. "Need a hand?"
I wasn't really a good friend of his but I did need help. "Yeah."
"Let's do this!" Knuckles ran up the wall and hit Eggman's head before Eggman even noticed that Knuckles was free. After the damage the red echidna had done, The Egg-head had become out of focus. I used chaos spear on him again, aiming towards his head instead of his wyvern. Eggman fell over, putting his hand on his head as he groaned in pain. Knuckles punched Eggman's wyvern and it crushed in half. I pulled out my gun and shot the robotic arm that grabbed my leg.
Knuckles jumped up. "WOOHOO!!" He held his hand out for a high-five. I didn't do those. I just gave him a thumbs up and opened the rest of the capsules.
Knuckles followed behind me as I grabbed a remote control from Eggman's wyvern. "Thanks for saving me Shadow, I would've lost my memory if I was in there any longer."
"No, I should thank you. If you hadn't punched Eggman, I wouldn't have been able to defeat him on my own."
"I like this side of you Shadow!!" Knuckles smiled.
"I glared at him. Don't tell anyone about this."
"Okay! chill out, I won't." Knuckles put his hands up showing that he wasn't crossing any fingers.
"So, you know about this?" I asked
"Huh?" Knuckles said.
"The capsules and memory loss."
"Ohhh yeah! I snuck in Eggman's lair and saw some documents. One file said that if you get put into the capsule, you'll start to lose memory. I was just put inside ten minutes ago before you came in. Seeing Sonic's parents in that room, got me really curious. Turns out Eggman had been waiting for me." Knuckles explained.
"Wait, so are Sonic's parents going to be okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I don't think they've completely lost memory. After a few days they should be alright. I cant be one hundred percent sure, but you can always ask Tails. He seems to know about that stuff more than me."
"Why did you go in his lair in the first place?"
"You ask a lot of questions Shadow." Knuckles said nervously.
It's been a bad habit since I woke up seventeen years ago."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing..I muttered." I was starting to get bad flashbacks from my past. I shook that out of my mind.
Knuckles answered my question. "I went to Eggman's lair because I was bored. He hasn't attacked in a while and I wanted to fight him. Sonic didn't answer my calls, and Tails was busy with studying. So, I went by myself."
"Makes sense." I pressed a button on the remote control, the door opened. I carried Sonic's parents while Knuckles carried the green hedgehog.
We were walking down the main street. Knuckles turned to the hospital, "i'm gonna go take this green hedgehog there. Cya!"
"Wait." I said. "Can I have your number? There's something important I have to tell you." I wanted to tell him about Rouge in person, but through text would be more safe. Not that i'm scared of him. I thought. I just don't want to be accused as wrong. In front of my face. Knuckles gave me his number and ran off to the hospital. I decided to take Sonic's parents to my place so Sonic could see them. Then, if they don't wake up, i'll take them to the hospital just like the green hedgehog.
I chaos controlled to Sonic. He looked very tired. I looked at my smartwatch. 9:46 PM. Time passes too quickly.
Sonic looked at me, his eyes halfway open. Then he saw his parents and his eyes widened. "Mom! Dad!"
His parents were unconscious.
"What happened to them! Are they dead? Have they completely lost memory??!!" Sonic cried.
"Depends how long they've been in the capsules."
"They were in capsules?!?" Sonic cried even more.
"Shh, it's gonna be okay." I rubbed Sonic's quills, trying my best to soothe him. I wasn't the best at comforting people, i'd always do the opposite. "We'll ask Tails to figure out what's going on with your parents. For now, i'll keep them at the hospital.
Sonic sniffed as he stopped crying. I put my hand on Sonic's dad's chest. "See? they're still breathing. Now let's take you three to the hospital."
Sonic got the spear removed from his foot. He'd be able to run after a week. His parents stayed at the hospital, gaining memory back.
Sonic and I, we were back at my place. "Shadow, do you really think my parents will be okay?" Sonic asked.
"Yes, they will." I assured. "Focus on your foot for now, that's what's important at the moment."
Sonic grabbed my hand. "Shadow, thank you so much for helping me and my parents." Then, he kissed me on the lips. I blushed and kissed him back.
Sonic's POV: I was so happy that Shadow had saved me and my family. I kissed him as he kissed back. We ended up making out for a while. After a good couple of minutes, we broke off the kiss, a string of saliva was attached to our lips. I was blushing so hard, Shadow was too. His dark blush was adorable.
Shadow licked my bottom lip, detaching the string of saliva. "Fuck.." He said. Then he chaos controlled us to his bedroom.
