5: HPGR to you getting in a serious car crash

Pansy

You both just had an argument about something really small that blew up into a huge argument. You both needed to calm down so you grabbed the keys and left despite her protests for you to stay so you both could talk it out. While driving, you began to think over the argument and wasn't paying the road much attention so you crashed into a tree. Pansy was getting worried as you had been gone for over an hour and all your calls went straight to voicemail, meaning your phone either died or it broke because of something. She's not the type of person to try and stay calm, she'll do what she wants. After an hour of thinking of the bad possibilities, she went after you, looking for you only to find you and your car in a wreck. Once you got to the hospital, she held your hand while you laid there and just kept staring at your face, willing you to wake up. Probably yells at the hospital staff tbh. She got you everything you needed, though not without some complaint. After you get discharged, she helps you a lot with recovery and is really overprotective, especially after arguments where she won't let you out of her sight, even if that means you're yelling at her or you're both sitting on the couch angrily. She doesn't forget the way you looked when she found you and has nightmares about it but won't tell you how much it bothered her or what her nightmares are about.

Hermione

You went out for a drive but didn't know the brakes weren't working and ended up crashing. After getting the call, she tries to stop the tears welling in her eyes. She takes a moment to breathe and reassure herself out loud that you're fine before leaving for the hospital. When she gets to you, she's silently sobbing at the state you're in but can't take it and leaves for a bit. When she gets back, you're still unconscious and the doctors are letting you rest so she goes and asks them what's wrong with you. She already feels terrible for having left you for so long so she calls Harry or Ron to get her some books on your injuries so she knows exactly what's happening to you/what could happen and how to make you recover faster. She held your hand through the majority of the stay, squeezing it to reassure you that she's there but also to reassure herself that you won't disappear before her eyes. Makes sure you do your physical therapy exactly like you were told. Also makes sure you go to any extra checkups and specialists you can get just to be sure everything is getting better. She has your pain meds and therapy all organized and checks with you to make sure you take your meds and do what you need to do. From now on, she will set a spell on the car to tell you if anything isn't working, some days even double-checking herself before either of you go anywhere and lecturing you to do the same.

Lavender

You and Lavender call each other a lot and this time she happened to call you while you were on the road. You picked up but because you were so distracted on the phone, you crashed into another car. She heard part of the crash on the phone up until your phone broke from the impact. She was TERRIFIED and kept trying to reassure herself out loud that you were okay. She met you in the hospital with a bunch of presents, like teddy bears and your favourite flowers. Will not leave your side. At all. Like ever. She just refuses. Gets you everything you need and feeds you even if you protest. She won't let you do anything, even after you get discharged she will, without complaint, get everything for you and stay with you as long as possible. Like Pansy, she has nightmares of you getting hurt following the event but she talks to you about her fears every time so you can reassure her that nothing is happening. Also panics quite a bit when you go to drive from now on and tries to convince you not to every time.

Luna

You were out late at night and a deer was on the road but it was dark so you swerved at the last minute and ended up hitting a tree. She gets the call and rushes to the hospital, asking the doctors about everything. Throughout your hospital stay, she's always asking the doctors/nurses about your injuries and what she can do to help you recover faster. Once you wake up she tells you everything she learned from them so you can also help yourself and be aware of everything. She gets you your favorite flowers every day until you wake up and takes care of all the flowers, including the ones others got you. Will make you feel like you're in a 5-star spa, like you're just that comfortable. She fixes your pillows, makes sure you have water, reads to you, etc. When you're recovering, she'll be super patient with you and will do your physical therapy with you no matter how long it takes. She's super cautious about you driving from now on and won't let you go driving at night often, not because she doesn't trust you but because the possibility of something happening to you is very real now.

Ginny

Both of you were going for a late night drive when another car crashed into you. It crashed into your side of the car, meaning you got the brunt of the blow. Ginny was a bit hurt but still conscious and moving, so when she realized what happened and saw you, she started screaming and calling for help SUPER loudly. At the hospital, she barely lets the doctors treat her and just runs to your room. When you're in surgery, she just places around tapping her foot and biting her nails. COMPLETELY restless the whole time. Whenever you're tired, she hums to you and plays with your hair. During your hospital stay and recovery, she will motivate you any time you feel unmotivated. For example, if you feel too exhausted to eat she'll make you something nice and eat with you. Helps you a ton with recovery and will tell you jokes to make it more fun so it's easier on you. After everything, she'll play it off like the accident was nothing but you'll catch her looking out the window worrying about things coming out of nowhere or telling you to slow down when you go too fast, which she never did before.
