TW: CEDRICS DEATH
No matter how many times you told your boyfriend, Cedric Diggory, not to put his name in for the Triwizard tournament, he still did it.
You were scared for his safety but nonetheless stuck by his side and helped him pass every task. That was, until the third task.
You were in the stands cheering until you saw Harry Potter crying out for help and leaning over a body.
You ran down to see Cedric, barely awake (for this let's say he was hit with a curse that doesn't kill you instantly).
You sat down, grabbing his hand tightly while some professors cleared out the other students while others tried to work on Cedric's body to see if there was anything they could do to save the boy.
Tears were running down your face and you were hurriedly telling him that everything would be okay when you felt him squeeze your hand.
He shifted himself as much as he could toward you C- "Just kiss me one last time. That's all I want. I know you'll be just fine without me."
Y- "Ced there's no without you, we can make it through this"
C- "We both know I'm dying, please."
This broke your heart but you accepted it and kissed him, your hand still holding onto his.
Your silent tears turned to wretched sobs as you felt him stop kissing back and his hand went limp in yours.
The staff had to take his body away so you gave him one last kiss on the forehead and took off the ring from his cold finger.
