11: HPBR to you having a forced marriage with someone else

TW: family issues, arranged/forced marriages

Harry:

You and your parents had a very rocky relationship. You were always arguing but it'd gotten worse lately. To the point where they decided they here done and would arrange a marriage for you to get rid of you. Harry knew about your relationship with them and was there for you every time so when you came to him crying about how your parents just told you you'd be getting married off, he was shocked to say the least. He couldn't believe how they could do that you you but knew they were serious because they'd been hinting at it for a while. He would do everything to make sure you weren't married off. He tried to help you reason with them but your parents were dead set on this. Since your parent's just wanted to get rid of you, he decided to give them just that and asked you to leave and live with him at the burrow (let's just say he's still there). You were worried about this but his answer was always "we can figure it out" or "it will all be okay, I'll make sure of it" and that's just what he did. Once you left your home and went to stay at the burrow he planned everything with you, even planning to move out of the burrow and get his own place with you.

Draco:

His family was very similar to yours. You both hated how they were and agreed to never raise your children the way they did. Today you found out that your parents had arranged for you to have an arranged marriage with Theodore Nott. It broke your heart to hear this. You had nothing against Nott, you'd see him at parties occasionally but he wasn't Draco. You spent hours crying, not knowing what to do until Draco came by to visit and tell you something. Upon seeing your state, he cradled you in his arms and whispered that it would all be okay. Y- "Draco I- they're making me marry Nott. I don't want to- I only want you". His heart sank at this news but he replied "I came here to tell you that I just found out I have to marry Astoria Greengrass" in a whisper, afraid that if he said it any louder he'd start sobbing and never stop. Despite his best efforts, he too started crying when your sobs got louder. ""Shh it's okay, I know it hurts. I know. We'll figure something out". You and Draco had already spent hours talking about your life together but neither of you had thought about the fact that you'd both have arranged marriages. The next morning he woke up hours before you and sat at your balcony just thinking. One memory kept playing in his mind, one where he was a child and decided to himself that he would run away and start his own life. Then another, where he was thinking about the family he was having with you, how he'd run away if they tried to make him raise his kids like they raised him. He sat there for hours just daydreaming about the life he could have with you if you both ran away. That was disrupted when you brought him some tea and sat beside him. Y- "Please remember that I'm on your side" D- "What if we ran away together?" Y- "What?" D- "We both have money saved up, we could get a house together somewhere far away". After that you both carefully worked out what you'd both have to do and where y'all wanted to go. In the months leading up to the wedding, you both managed to get a house somewhere where no one knew either of you. You'd both slowly move your things into the house and told only your closest friends that you were leaving so you could keep contact. The night prior to your wedding, Draco came over in the middle of the night and you left together for good. Fast forward 3 years, you were both happier than ever, you were expecting and knew your child would be safe/wouldn't need to deal with anything you both did, you both managed to get jobs you loved, and everything was better than you could imagine.

Mattheo:

While he is from a very influential family, his values power above all else so he never had to worry about arranged marriages, only tasks for his father. Which in itself was draining. Your parents had planned your arranged marriage for years so you could continue your bloodline and make your family more powerful. They planned on not telling you until the day of your wedding but they told some of their friends, including the Malfoys who told Draco who told Mattheo. Mattheo was FUMING but knew that you had no idea so he had to handle it carefully. He took you on a surprise date stargazing in a field and he told you halfway though. Seeing you so distraught genuinely hurt him, making him want to do something about it immediately but decides you need comfort so he spends hours telling you that everything would be just fine and coming up with the most random ideas on how to stop you from being married off just to make you laugh (like saying he'd get filch to marry your groom-to-be instead). He ends up humming you to sleep once you're calmed down. After you're asleep, he carries you home and leaves to take the issue into his own hands. So what's his genius plan? He goes and beats up the guy you're supposed to marry and then threatens him telling him he needs to back out of the marriage. The guy being scared for his life and not wanting to need dentures or facial reconstruction surgery, he does exactly what he's told and calls it off, giving some bs excuse. Because he called it off, your parents couldn't be mad at you and had no plan on what to do next. Mattheo took this as a chance to propose to you. He went to your parents to ask if he could marry you and ofc your parents said yes because of who he is and bc you still needed someone to marry. The very next day he takes you to this waterfall you both used to visit a lot and at night he proposes and tells you that nothing will ever break you two apart (just imagine the adorable smile on his face when you say yes- that has all of my heart).
