6: HPBR to you getting in a serious car crash

Harry:

People were after him. And in turn, they were also after you. You both were generally safe but someone had been watching you recently and knew your schedule so when you left for work that day, they followed you. You were driving when you noticed someone was getting close so you tried to get away but they kept following you until they managed to drive you off the road and your car rolled down a ditch. You couldn't really move so you called Harry for help along with the hospital. Harry got there IMMEDIATELY and was already in tears when he got there. He tried pulling at you and at the car but his sobs only got harsher as nothing worked so he just kept telling you that you'd be okay until the doctors arrived. Mans wouldn't even let the doctor work- he kept telling them "be careful!" or "don't hurt her!" until they made him go wait at the hospital. Once the doctors got you out and to the hospital, they took you to get some scans and emergency surgery. While you were in there Harry couldn't stop biting his nails and walking back and forth. Poor boy didn't even stop crying once. Once you got out he just held your hand and rested his head on your bed until you woke up. After you did, he started rambling about how he'd find who did this and how he'd take you to work himself but he realized you were tired so he shut himself up and just held your hand and did the thumb thing. Once you were less tired he called everyone you wanted to come visit you and after you were discharged he was super big on you being safe and he always got things for you.

Cedric:

Oh boy this ones gonna hurt. You both were having a little date at a park when you went to go across the street to a store to get something to drink. But before you could, someone was speeding and hit you before driving off. Cedric's eyes widened and he froze for like .2 seconds before running up to you and starting first aid (side note: he knows like every type of first aid there is- he's just that type of person). He just keeps whispering "come on darling, you're okay" repeatedly while trying to help you and wake you up. Once he's done he takes you to the hospital where he doesn't leave your side for even a second. He knows you love it when he reads to you so even while you're out, he's reading or humming to you. Constantly makes sure you've comfy (while you're out and while you're awake) by brushing hair out of your face, getting his father to bring you comfy blankets from home, giving you any food/drink you want (he always checks with the doctors if it's okay that you have it though), playing anything you want on the TV, etc. He literally makes it like a 5 star hotel and even when you tell him you don't need anything he still tries to think of things to make you comfy. He's mostly doing it to make you comfy but he's also super restless and nervous and this is helping him calm down. He asks the doctors a bunch of questions about your state, what you can and can't have/do, how to help you, etc. Once you're discharged, he doesn't let you risk falling or getting hurt again so he gets you things until you're fully healed. When ya'll go out now, he's always keeping a close eye on you because he thinks he should have done something even though Edward Cullen himself couldn't have stopped a car going that fast.

Draco:

Yk those guys who love to speed and take risks while driving and have no concern for the consequences? That's him. Anyway you were on vacation with him when he did this and you told him to slow down like usual and like usual, he only sped up more. He kept speeding up until he saw a sharp turn, where he tried to turn but because of how fast he was going, the car lost control and ended up crashing, with your side getting the brunt of the blow. (Draco rn: surprised Pikachu face). Next thing he knows he wakes up in a hospital room but once it hits him why he's there, he jumps up and starts looking for you everywhere until a nurse tells him you're still in surgery and to stay in the waiting room. Mf doctors are tired of his ass always asking "is she okay?" every 5 minutes like a kid asking "are we there yet?" So they just let him in to see you right away. He runs to your side and just starts kissing your hand and trying to calm himself down. Once you wake up he asks you if you need anything and keeps checking that you're okay. Once you reassure him, he takes a deep breath, brings your hand to his lips (which he's still holding from before), closes his eyes and keeps repeating "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry". No matter how many times you reassure him, the guilt is eating him alive and he tries to make it up to you in every way possible. That night once you fall asleep he says "I... I was gonna propose to you love. I was driving us to this gorgeous spot where you could see the whole city. I'm so sorry". Once you're discharged, you ask him if you guys can still enjoy your vacation, which he gladly agrees to and does everything he planned (including going to the spot and proposing). His guilt does get better but no matter what anyone says, he will never truly forgive himself for putting the person he loves in danger.

Tom:

It was a really rainy day and the car slipped on the wet road making it crash into a brick wall. Later that day he gets a call from the hospital telling him everything so he quickly gets to the hospital and he doesn't even hesitate to start threatening his way in. He was yelling at one of the doctors as he walked it but right when he saw you, he went dead silent. Tom Riddle always knew what to say and do but at this moment, he had no idea. It felt like someone had frozen him there, making him unable to do anything but feel his heart-shattering. He sat beside you, just telling you how he felt about you freely because he knew you were unconscious. He then gave you a kiss on the forehead and slipped one of his rings on you before. After that, he goes home quickly to get some stuff, including a book to read to you and some blankets. Once he's back he sees you're awake and admiring the ring "Keep it, it's yours now". You smile but wince bc you're still in pain. He casts a pain relief spell on you before sitting in the seat beside you and reading to you until you fall asleep again. Once you're discharged, he changes your car a bunch so it's safer during different weather and quadruple checks that everything is working right. He does all of that himself bc he doesn't trust anyone else to keep you safe.

Mattheo:

Just a warning this is LONG- sorry I got carried away writing it

You were calling him while driving (don't do this loves- you'll see why soon) and neither of you thought much of it because it was something you did often. He said a joke and you were laughing but that really quickly turned into a scream when you noticed the moose (this autocorrected to mouse and uh I'm just imagining a huge adorable mouse in the road causing accidents) in front of you, which you didn't see before bc you were distracted. Theo was still on the line and was TERRIFIED. He will never forget the sound of your scream and the crash after. He quickly tracked your phone and called the hospital, before rushing to the hospital to meet you there. All he wanted was to hold your hand and tell you everything was okay but you were being rushed around and then taken to surgery so he couldn't do anything but try and keep an eye on you while plotting moose murd3r (sorry, sorry, it's 2AM while I'm writing this and my mind is everywhere). Once they're done the doctors tell him he can't see you yet because they didn't want him to see you in that state so what does this genius do? He breaks in ofc. He waits until a really busy time and manages to get past the security and locks all the way to where you were (well not before having the displeasure of walking into the wrong room and getting a cane thrown at him by a confused Dumbledore ballroom dancing with his heart monitor wearing nothing but those hospital gowns that expose what you'd see in your bogart). Once he gets to your room he can't even bring himself to say anything and just freezes while the tears start to run. It wasn't dramatic or anything, he was completely still while crying silently and with his eyes frozen on nothing but you but anyone watching could see that his heart had never broken like that. But anyone watching would also understand why- the sight was terrifying. You looked almost d3@d, like something straight out of a slasher movie. Even the doctors that found him couldn't bring themselves to yell at him for breaking in after seeing the state he was in. Once you started to stir he came running towards you whispering "you're okay" and "I thought I was gonna lose you" repeatedly while brushing the hair out of your face softly. The whole time he never left your side and kept asking if you were okay or telling you how scared he was. Whenever you fell asleep, he would stay up for as long as he could just to make sure you were okay and that you didn't need anything. Once you got out, he helped you with any medications/therapy you needed and even asked everyone for the best way to help you get better. Also now has a fear of you driving and always has to make sure everything is perfect/safe before you go.
