After I had grabbed my clothes and changed Finnick left the room saying he was gonna shower.

When he came back he had on grey ripped jeans and a Metallica hoodie. He went into his closet and came out with a pair of chunky boots in his hand.

"What?" He asks sitting on his bed to pull the boots on

"Huh?"

"You were staring." He says

"Oh, sorry." I say scratching the back of my neck

He tries to cover his smile but I can still see the sides of his mouth quirk up.

"I need to head down before someone busts in here, you go out the window and stay right there I'll be there in a few." He says

I nod and head towards his window.

"Be careful." He says

"You got it darlin'" I say with a wink

He turns a slight shade of pink and grabs his bag.

I climb out of the window and let myself fall to the ground, landing in a crouch. He pokes his head out of the window and looks down at me.

I give him a small wave and walk to the tree line.

Opening the pack link multiple voices flood my head.

'Cain!? Where the hell are you!?' My mothers voice rang out

'I found him mom.' I say

'You found your mate!?' My fathers voice pops in

'Yes, dad.'

'Which pack are they from? What type of wolf are they? Are they a warrior? Are they—'

'Honey!' My mom yells

'Sorry bud.'

'He's human dad.'

'Really!?' They screech in unison

'Yes, and because of my idiot Beta he knows about us. I love Kai but I wish he'd choose better friends.' I say

'Your mate is Elliot!?' My mom yells

'His brother.' I say

'We'll isn't that some shit!' My dad laughs

'Maybe it was fate to get you and Elliot to work through your troubles.' My mom says

'I hate the guy. After what he did I would rather eat wolfsbane than befriend him.'  I growl

'Don't you talk like that!' My mom yells

'Honey you can't push him to befriend Elliot, Elliot did some pretty good damage.' My dad chimes in
