Slight smut in this chapter. SLIGHT NOT ALOT.
Cain
After Finnick and I left Leo, we went to go check on Connor.
He was sitting in the windowsill again in the same spot, just in different clothing and his hair was a bit more tamed.
He didn't turn towards us when we walked in but i knew he knew it was us.
"You showered." I say
"It was nice to actually shower and not get sprayed with ice cold water from a hose." He says
Connor turns to us and hops down from the windowsill.
"When can I see Leo?" He asks
"Would you like to see him now?" Finn asks
Connor looks at me and then to Finnick.
"Yes."
Connor walks over to Finn, standing close to him.
I turn and open the door leading them down to Leo's door.
I watch Connor reach out and grab Finnick's arm, looking rather nervous.
"Its ok." Finnick whispers
Connor nods and I open the door.
Leo was still sitting on the floor, but he now had a new puzzle.
"Leo." Connor whispers
Leo looks up and Connor smiles down at him.
Leo jumps up and comes crashing into Connor, wrapping his arms around him tightly.
"You're ok!" Leo yells
"Yeah, I'm ok. Are you?"
Leo looks at Finnick and I and smiles.
"Yes."
"We'll give you two some time together. We'll be back later." I say
"Thank you, Alpha." Connor says bowing his head
I give them a smile and take Finnick's hand.
"Bye guys." Finnick says, giving them a small smile
Finnick and i walk out of the room and walk into the kitchen.
"Its huge." Finnick says looking around
"There's a lot of people." I say
"Does everyone eat together?" He asks
"Sometimes. When we have enough people to cook yes but a lot of the time we all do our own thing."
"Would you like to eat together more?"
"Honestly, yes. It's nice sitting with everyone and eating. Its loud and I fight to the death for the last chicken leg, but you know, i guess that's just family."
Finnick smiles and nods.
"Come on let's go find Jess." I say
I take his hand again and we walk outside to the training grounds.
Sure enough Jess was out there just like my mother said. Jess was always out here. She was one of our pack warriors, one of the strongest ones we had in our pack.
"Hey Jess."
"Alpha."
She stopped her assault on the punching bag and turned to us.
"Hello Luna. Its nice to finally meet you."
"Please call me Finnick."
Jess just smiles.
