Cain
After we picked up Elliot he asked a lot of questions. Like a lot.
Dr. White explained to Elliot what was going on, the same story we told Niko but he just laughed.
"It's true son." Niko says
"This is bullshit." Elliot says
"Cain turned into a wolf in the middle of our living room." Niko says
Elliot doesn't say anything else he just looks at me.
"So you could've killed me all that time huh?" He asks
"Very easily but I don't want murdering a human on my track record." I say
"I'm sorry. For everything. I was a terrible person and now my brother might die and the last memory he'll have of me is us fighting."
I looked in the mirror and saw tears in Elliot's eyes.
"It is not a guarantee that he will die." Dr white says
"But if he doesn't he'll turn into a wolf like you guys?"
Dr. White nods.
Dr. White looks at me with sad eyes.
"What's the chances that he will survive doctor." I link her
"80/20. 80 is not the happy ending I'm afraid."
I grip the steering wheel tightly as we pull into our territory.
"Holy shit." Elliot says
"It's like your own small community." Niko says
"It is. The big house there is where umated wolves and children live along with the alpha family." I say
"Alpha family?" Elliot asks
"My family."
I pull into the parking garage and get out of the car.
Niko and Elliot look around, both looking very uneasy.
"Don't worry, your not the only humans here." Dr. White says
We start walking up to the main house but stop when I hear a gasp behind me.
"Uh Cain? Help.."
I turn around and see Steven our head warrior in wolf form, sniffing at Niko, not letting him move.
"You have got to be shitting me right now." I say, dragging my hands down my face
"What's going on?" Niko asks, looking frightened
"It seems our warrior has found his mate." Dr. White says
"What!" Niko and Elliot exclaim at the same time
"Today of all fucking days." I mumble
"I'm not gay!" Niko says
Steven shifts back into human form causing Elliot back away behind me.
"And neither am I but you, you are beautiful." Steven says
Niko stares at Steven, his face red.
"Ok Steven go put clothes on. You can do this later." I say, firmly
"Yes Alpha." He says running off to go get clothes
I let out a sigh and close my eyes.
"Ok let's go." I say
"What're you gonna do dad?" I hear Elliot whisper
"I don't know. I mean he's attractive."
"And he's our head warrior. He's very strong. His niece Jess is one our strongest female warriors." I say
