Cain and I quickly left his bedroom and headed right to the medical ward.
I heard the poor boy screaming from down the hall and I felt my heart break. We walked in the room he was curled up in a ball on the floor and the room was trashed.
I walked into the room and Cain stayed behind me.
"Hey its ok. You're ok." I say softly
I slowly drop down to the floor in front of Leo and he starts to calm down.
He doesn't say anything to me for a few minutes he just looks at me.
"Don't want to stay here." He mumbles
"You're hurt you have to stay here until you are better." I say
"Alpha. A word." The doctor says, calling Cain out of the room
Cain nods and walks out of the room to talk to her.
"Lets get you back into bed ok?" I say holding out my hand
He nods and carefully places his hand in mine.
I help him get back into the bed and place the cover over him.
"Rest." I say
He nods and closes his eyes, snuggling into the bed.
After a few minutes his breathing evens out signaling he's fallen asleep.
I get up from the bed and leave the room and see Cain and the doctor talking quietly.
"His system is clean. Whatever they injected him with is no longer in his system." The doctor says
"Isn't that good?" I ask
"Yes and no. Yes, because it doesn't seem to be causing harm to him physically now but its also bad because we have no idea what we're dealing with."
"Will the marks on his face go away?" Cain asks
"I'm not sure at the moment but we'll watch it."
"Hes asleep again." I say
"You look like you need to get some rest, Luna."
I smile tiredly and look at Cain.
"I wanna check on the other kid." I say
Cain looks at Dr. White and she nods.
We walk to the room and the door was guarded by two large men.
"Move boys." Dr. White says
They look down at the small little lady and look at each other before moving.
She unlocks the door and we all walk in.
The kid was sitting on the windowsill, looking out the window.
"Is he ok?" The kid asks
"Hes sleeping now." I say
"He used to wake up screaming all the time. It made them mad."
Dr. White leaves the room leaving Cain and I alone with the kid.
"Do you know where they kept you? Who did it?" Cain asks
"It was a warehouse somewhere. I don't know where though. I was just walking around somewhere at night and the next thing I know I got grabbed and was knocked out. When I woke up I was chained up in a warehouse with a bunch of other kids."
