"Well, she's a right cunt" Nathan said, I looked up and saw that he was walking out of the door to the roof. We were all sat around on the sofas.

"What did she say?" I asked.

"Nothing much, she just yelled and whenever I said anything she just yelled more."

"How unusual," I said sarcastically and he glared at me

My feet were along the length of the sofa, blocking him from sitting on it. I was about to move them so he could sit there as well when I felt his hands lace around my legs and lift them up. He positioned himself underneath them before dropping them onto his lap. I tensed my legs for a moment but after seeing how casual Nathan looked I relaxed.

"They're gonna think the probation workers still alive," Simon said quietly, "I stole his credit card, I used it to book a flight."

Wow, he's good.

"That is smart," Curtis said

Kelly was impressed to, "You're dead good at stuff like that."

"Yeah, nice one weird kid," Nathan said. I would have hit him but I realised in his own way he had complimented Simon.

"I cannot believe we got away with this shit," Alisha laughed.

I couldn't believe it either but it was over. It was finally over. There was no trace of our connection to their deaths. We were safe.

"We should all go out for a drink, you know, to celebrate. It's like an ironic fuck you to the probation worker. We're all out having a good time, you're buried under the foundations of an environmental monitoring station," Simon said, he seemed to have found some confidence and he spoke proudly.

He stared around at us all expectantly for a second before Alisha sighed and stood up, "See you all tomorrow, yeah?" She turned and nodded at Curtis as she walked off.

Curtis saw this and said, "Later," jumping out of his chair and following Alisha eagerly. I guess they were officially a thing. Although they both didn't seem like the type to want a relationship with no sex. With Alisha's power they couldn't exactly have sex, not without Alisha using her power and Curtis forgetting it ever happened.

I moved my legs off Nathan's lap and stood up, I gave Simon a weak smile as I walked past him. Nathan got up to leave as well.

"Do you wanna come for a drink?" Simon asked Nathan as he walked past.

"Are you asking me out on a date?"

"No I meant all of us," Simon said.

"Did you? I am not your whore."

Kelly stood up as well saying sorry to Simon before we all left him there on the roof.
