Book 1: The Other Garmadon

The Green Ninja

Cole explained to the ninjas how Lyric wanted to find her brother Lloyd and took her in on the bounty, and all of them introduced themselves to her, Kai though is not very welcoming towards Lyric. 

At night the ninjas were training at the deck while Nya explained to Lyric what happened when Lloyd was still with them. 

"So you're telling me that the ninjas carelessly lost my brother because they wanted to find out who is Samurai X, when in fact you were the Samurai!?" Lyric exclaimed in disbelief. 

"Pretty much, yeah." Nya nodded. 

Lyric facepalmed. 'And to think they're the ones who promised to find my brother.' 

Nya chuckled at Lyric's reaction, she turned on the lights when the ninjas were done. 

"Good training. Your powers are getting stronger." Nya complimented. "But where's Kai?"

Lyric looked at the deck and saw only three color-coded ninjas. 

The three ninjas looked around for the missing ninja. "We'll go look for him." Cole said as the three went to find Kai. 

Minutes passed and the ninjas have not yet come back.

"Hello? I'm home." Someone called out. 

Lyric whipped her head around to see an old man with a long white beard arrive landing on the deck who seems to be Sensei Wu and Lyrics' Uncle. 

Lyric stared at her Uncle with eyes wide as she couldn't believe she saw her Uncle once again.

the ninjas finally came and they all greeted their master. 

"Ah. It's so good to be home." Sensei Wu stated, 

"So glad you're back." 

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked. 

"Oh, Sensei, have you missed a lot. Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer—" Jay was cut off by Wu. "Zane is a...what?"

" You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai have discovered our True Potential, and Lyric here came to us looking for Lloyd." Zane explained. 

"Have you now?" Wu then looked at Lyric with eyes slightly widened."Niece, it's good to see you again." Wu said smiling at Lyric as she smiled back. "It's good to see you too Uncle." 

"Where's Kai?" Wu asked.

"Right here. So glad you're back safe."Kai said running up to greet Wu. Then he saw Garmadon coming up behind Wu. 

"Aah! Sensei, behind you!" Kai charges at Garmadon while Zane dives to protect Wu, Lyric on the other hand stared at her dad completely stunned. 

'Is that my dad? Is he also here for Lloyd?' Lyric thought wondering to herself. 

"Ugh! He's got four arms." Kai exclaimed, they both grunted on the ground.

"So we meet again." Garmadon growled at Kai. 

"He must've followed you, Sensei!" 

"Kai, stop! He is the reason I left. For so long as Pythor has Lloyd, he will be our guest." Wu said stopping Kai from slicing Garmadon.

"We have to live with this guy?" Cole questioned.

"But Sensei, he has four arms!" Zane exclaimed.

" Uh, must I remind you ever since he turned evil, he's been trying to get our Golden weapons?" Jay complained, to be honest, they all complained.
