Lyric's Gi: 👆

Lyric POV:

I opened my eyes and looked around and realized I'm in the bounty.

My chest ached a bit and I clutched it but the pain soon subsided.

"How are you doing Lyr?"

I perked up to see. "Nya." I smiled

"I'm doing fine."

"Glad to know."

Then silence came between us which soon became awkward.

"You know Lyric you have nothing to hide from us, you can tell us anything you know." She told.

"I know."

"Then why are you hiding it?"

I chuckled nervously. "What are you talking about Nya?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about." She stated in a stern tone.

I sighed looking down feeling a little guilty that I didn't tell her.

"Lyric?" She called out softly.

I looked away from her and took a deep breath.

"I have powers." I mumured under my breath.

"You know you should make your voice louder."

I sighed once again. "I have powers." This time a little louder.

Nya gasped softly. "Really?"

"Well yeah but-" Before I could explain any further she literally squealed and pulled me into a huge hug.

"This is great– wait no— this is perfect!"

"No Nya it's not." I argued.

"What do you mean it's not? It's–"

"It's not what it seems!" I exclaimed.

Nya confused, quieted down and asked. "What?"

"I don't know anything about my powers Nya or how to even use it properly, I'm not even sure if it's safe to use it or the fact I should believe I'm a Guardian and was chosen-"

"What hold up. Guardian?"

"Yes– wait...I was rambling wasn't i?"

"Pretty much."

"Anyway, what I'm trying to say is...what if I can't control it, what if I hurt people, what if I become my dad, what if I hurt Lloyd." I rambled as my voice cracked at the end.

Nya looked at me sympathetically and held both of my hands. "Do you believe it?

"Do I believe what?"

"Do you believe your or you are evil? She questioned.

"W-well, no, but."

"Then there's your answer." She stated.

I tilted my head in confusion. "Huh?"

"Lyric, your doubts don't dictate what you should believe, it's you yourself who should dictate what to believe." She quoted.

I was stunned by the words that came from her mouth, but I then chuckled lightly. "Since when did you learn how to quote?"

"Hmm, well, I picked up a thing or two from books." She replied.

"Oh my, did I influence you that much?" I asked playfully.

She rolled her eyes and laughed as I too laughed along.
