Abandoned shipping yard in Star City...
Rene walked through the shipping yard as Oliver, myself and Dinah were standing by some crates.
'This is definitely the place,' he said.
'Then where is he?' Oliver asked.
'Maybe he got held up,' Dinah suggested. Suddenly, Oliver spoke.
'Rene, stop!' Rene froze in his spot.
'What are you talking about?'
'There are motion detectors,' I said. 'We've been made.' Just then, we looked up, and Rene followed our line of sight to one of the top crates, where the Green Arrow stood.
'I said... come alone,' the archer said through his voice modulator.
'These are my friends,' Rene called out. 'You already met Captain Drake.' Dinah waved as the three of us came to stand next to Rene. 'You can trust them.'
'We only want to talk,' Dinah exclaimed.
'I'll pass,' the archer growled through the voice modulator. Oliver stepped up.
'Piece of advice from one Green Arrow to another... cooperate! Because right now, most of the people in this city think you're a killer. Are you?' Instead of responding, the archer ran.
'Cut him off!' Dinah yelled.
'On it,' Rene replied back as Oliver and I jumped on top of some scaffolding to run after the masked archer. When the archer got to the end of a shipping container, he fired an arrow and launched himself away, then made it down to the ground. We did, too, and kept running until we hit a few rows of shipping containers. An engine started and before long, a motorcycle roared past us, the four of us standing in silence, having failed to catch the archer.
Star City. 2040.
Evelyn had gone somewhere else. William, Dinah and Zoe walked up behind the blonde girl who had been fighting in the ring.
'Excuse me, Ms, uh, Blackstar?' William asked. 'Can we talk to you?'
'I'm kind of busy,' the girl said with complete disinterest in her voice.
'Clearly,' Zoe snapped.
'We only need five minutes,' Dinah replied.
'Not interested,' the girl snapped. William set down a roll of money and the girl took it, then pushed it back towards him, downing the rest of her drink. 'Like I said,' she replied with sarcasm thick in her voice, 'I'd love to talk.'
We walked upstairs from the lower part of the fight club to another room, and William talked the whole time that they were going up.
'So this whole fight club thing, you just beat people up for what? Fun?'
'Stress release,' the girl replied as they made it up to the top floor of the building. She turned around to face the small group. 'Do you really want to spend your five minutes talking about my hobbies?'
'How do you know Felicity Smoak?' Zoe asked.
'I don't,' the girl retorted.
'Well, that's strange, because you were the last person she called before she was killed.'
'Felicity's dead?' the girl replied, with a catch in her voice.
'Oh, so you do know her,' a voice said, and Evelyn walked around the corner, twisting and flipping a blade in her hands.
