Oliver jogged through the burnt out forest, having left William at the edge of the shores of Lian Yu. He came to a small clearing and looked around, seeing someone's back turned to him.

'Slade?' he called out. Slade turned and walked down towards him, taking off his helmet.

'You all right, kid?'

'Yeah, I'm fine. Where is everyone?'

'I came back looking for people.'

'Came back?' Oliver asked, his brows furrowing. 'What do you mean you came back?'

'Two of your friends went to the monastery to look for survivors. Ra's al Ghul's daughter went back to the cages for that girl, but your sisters -'

'What about them?' he asked, tears welling in his eyes slightly. 'Slade. Where's Thea and Evelyn?' Slade walked past him.

'They're this way.'

Slade and Oliver walked a ways to another clearing. Slade pointed.

'The blast blew her over there.' Oliver ran and fell to the ground, seeing Thea motionless.

'Thea?! he said. Putting his head in his hands, he began to cry. He looked back up at Slade after a while. 'Where's Evelyn?'

Oliver still knelt beside Thea.

'We have to get her out of here,' Slade said. 'And we still have to find your other sister.'

'Oliver?' Samantha called. She stumbled out into the clearing, as I tagged along behind her.

'Samantha?' She slumped against him, and he gently lowered her to the ground.

'William?' she asked, her eyes half closing. Oliver looked up as I fell against Slade and he gently held me up, not letting me fall.

'He's fine, he's fine,' Oliver assured her. 'Are you okay?' She began to fully relax in his arms. 'Hey, hey, hey, hey. He's fine, he's fine. We have to get you medical attention.'

'No,' she groaned. 'I just needed to make sure that he was okay.'

'He wants to see his mom.'

'William needs a parent. Promise me that you will be his father.'

'I promise.' Her eyes closed and she fully relaxed. He lowered her to the ground and stood, sweeping me up bridal style. I coughed, blood trickling down my chin and neck.

'Ollie... I - I'm so sorry.' I coughed again.

'Shh...' he said softly. 'It's okay. I'll get you and Speedy out of here.' My hands were soaked in blood, holding my stomach.

'I'm just... I need to sleep - for a bit,' I mumbled, head lolling back.

'Hey, hey, stay with me. Keep your eyes open.' I coughed again, more blood spilling.

'I feel tired, Ollie. So tired...' and at that my eyes closed and I slumped against his chest, falling into the sweet darkness of unconsciousness.
