Star City. 2040.

William turned to Dinah and Roy.

'Thank you. Both of you,' he said.

'I should be thanking you,' Roy replied. 'You got me off that island.'

'You never really told me how you got on that island,' William said.

'It's uh - a long story,' Roy replied tentatively. 'Look, we should really get going.'

'I'll catch up with the two of you,' Felicity said, turning to Mia and William. 'There's something I have to do before we say goodbye - something to honour your father and your aunt.'

Star City. Present-day. Evelyn Queen's POV

Felicity sidled up to Oliver as he stood, sharing at the suits on the wall.

'You having second thoughts?' she asked.

'No,' he replied.

'Right. Yeah. Me either. It's the right thing to do. For our family.'

'I do wish we could tell the team about the...'

'Yeah.'

'Baby, but it just puts them in the Ninth Circle's crosshairs.'

'When that threat is over. Until then, it's the best thing for them...' Felicity said. 'And us.' Just then, John and I walked up the steps to the platform.

'You know, the spirit of this place will live on long after we're gone,' John said. 'You've inspired so many people, Oliver. They will carry on your legacy.'

'Sounds like a cycle for good,' Oliver replied.

'Far better than that,' I spoke. 'A cycle of heroes who will fight to defend this city with every fibre of their being.'

'Anyone ever told you you both always know exactly what to say?' Felicity asked.

'So we've been told,' John replied. I smiled up at him. We let out a quiet chuckle, and Felicity let out a soft sob as she leaned on Oliver's shoulder. I felt tears prick my eyes and leaned into my brother.

'I'm gonna miss you, Ollie,' I said softly.

'Me too, Ellie-bear.'

'Let's get you two to your new home,' John said. Then, both John and I walked away, with Felicity following behind a second later.

'Goodbye, old friend,' she said. Slowly, one by one, all of the lights were shut off, leaving Oliver alone in the building.

Bloomfield. Outside of Star City.

Oliver, Felicity, John and Evelyn walked up to the small house.

'Well, it's not Ivy Town, but it'll work,' Felicity remarked.

'Well, it's temporary,' Oliver replied.

'This entire neighbourhood is ex-CIA, ex-DIA, and ex-ARGUS,' John said. 'This is one big safe house; you two will be fine here.'

'Please thank Lyla for us,' Felicity said to John.

'Of course.'

'Well, this is home now,' Felicity said, letting out a happy sigh.

'At least until the threat against our baby girl is taken care of,' Oliver replied.
