I woke up to a phone call from Matt, Steven seemed to have already gotten up so I just answered the call "matt you o-" I was interrupted by Matt crying out "s-she hates me! S-she never liked me in th-the first place" oh, i responded "oh, you poor thing! Do you want me to come over? I'll bring some snacks too" matt sniffled a bit and replied "yeah th-that would be nice!" i smiled and said "great, i'm on my way" i quickly got changed and went to the cabinets and got chips, sodas etc, ect and left a not for steven telling him where i was, where i was going to leave a not for steven i found a note for me saying "i found a job application in the news, so i will be going to an interview for it. - Steven '' I read the note and put it in my pocket and went off to Matt's house. When I got there Matt pulled me inside, still in tears. I gave him a hug and started rubbing circles on his back "there there bud, she just didn't deserve you, if she played with you, she was severely missing out" Matt just shook his head "would you LOOK at me for one second and tell me how she's missing out on ANYTHING? Have you ever SEEN me?" he cried. I smiled and said "of course Matt, I'm looking at you right now, you are a smart, humorous, attractive, and kind guy. Of course she's missing out ''Matt just put his head on my shoulder and seemed to stop crying and just said "do,do you really mean that?" i just said "yes, why wouldn't i??"matt hugged me tightly and i realized something, i was still holding the chips matt realized this too and said "oh shoot, sorry n/n" i just chuckled and said "it's fine matz i got them for you anyway" matt gave that happy smile he had seeming only around me and just flopped downon the couch, patting the place beside him, "join me for a movie?" matt asked. I sat down next to him, placing the snacks down while nodding. After the movie Matt took me out to the cafe where i ALMOST confessed to him. While we were there matt suddenly stoped talking for a moment, then he gently grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes "y/n... i think i-, i think i'm in love with you" WHAT?! I didnt know what to say but i managed to muster out a "really?" matt just nodded and he leaned in a bit, myself doing the same. This gap was interrupted with a kiss. This shocked me but i slowly kissed back. Matt pulled away, visibly blushing. "Wow, i would've never thought you would like me back" i looked matt deeply in the eyes and said, "isn't it obvious you dope? I have and always WILL love you! And.... thats why i left that day, i was a bit jealous." matt seemed to blush more, if that was even possible and said "why would you be? No one could ever replace you y/n, never in a million years!" Matt gently kissed me again, short but sweetly, but that was when we were interrupted by steven running in, "Y/N! WE HAVE TO GO NOW, JACKSONS UN-UNDER CONTROL OF HENRY! HES AFTER YOUR FATHER!" My heart dropped, me and matt quickly sprang out of our seats and dashed out the door. Me dashing faster than ever because it was my father in danger. When we got there.... We were too late my father was gone , WE WERE TO LATE THIS IS JACKSONS FAULT! IF HE HADNT AGREED TO HENRY WE WOULDNT BE IN THIS MESS! I had snapped out of this thought with matt shaking my shoulders "Y/N! DONT YOU DARE GIVE INTO THAT MAGENTA FREAK!" I looked at him. I could NOT let him get into my head. I nodded at matt while he went out to look for my father, and called 2 certain crayon colored men, thats right, dave and jack! If they could help us once they could help us again. I remembered on how my promise went, and i knew i fulfilled it because 10,000$ from my account was gone, so when i called i was met with a friendly voice "y/n! How can i help?" I swallowed my doubt and said "henry, henry's back" there was a silence on the other end of the line. "....what?" I repeated myself, "Henry's back, through my friend. Can you help?"dave responded "ofcourse, anything to keep HIM away, but how is he back, and who did he manipulate this time?" i took a deep breath before replying "you dont know them i dont think but his name is jackson, he's a friend of mine.'' Dave sighed and said "i'll get sportsy on board... Thank you for telling me, hes probably after me anyways, stay safe, i don't think he'll be too happy with you" i thought about telling him about henry's appearance in the hospital, but decided against it. Dave hung up and i sat down on the couch, head in my hands. It has set in.... My father was GONE, where could he be, and if it was henry after him, is he even alive? I felt tears at the brim of my eyes,I had just gotten my father back now he was gone? I burned down the pizzeria. I deserve this, I really do, I HURT Steven in doing so,if i had stayed home my father would still be here. THIS IS ALL MY FAULT. Tears were streaming down my face at this point and i just curled up on the couch, steven came back in and said, "y/n... you ok? " I shook my head at him and he noticed i was crying he sat down next to me, "oh, this is about your father, right?" i slightly shifted up "its... about everything really, I HURT you, my fathers GONE if i never left the house he would still be here! This is all my fault!" I said, tears still running down my face, steven put his hand on my cheek and wiped away my tears. "Oh, n/n this isn't your fault! It never would've been! This is all on Henry, there is nothing that is your fault!" This made me feel a bit better, and I just hugged Steven,crying into his shoulder. After what felt like an hour of Steven comforting me, i finally stopped crying, "steven..." i mumbled "thank you for everything '' Steven SOMEHOW, gave me a comforting gaze and said "no problem, its what friends do '' . Matt came back in and noticed my, probably puffy cheeks ''y/n? Are you ok" i nodded a bit, and matt sighed "no sign of your father, sorry y/n" I told him it was fine, and i was heading to bed, matt stopped me in the hall and said "y/n, I'm sorry if the reason you were so upset was that girl i was talking to, i should've realized the best person for me was right in front of me the whole time, y/n i care for you so much" i smiled and gently kissed him on the lips "you're so sweet matt, that's why i like you so much" Matt froze for a second and said "do you mind if i stay here for the night? We can cuddle and watch a movie?" I smiled at him and replied with "of course!" matt just gave me that mischievous grin and picked me up bridal style and started walking "WHA-, Matt what are you doing?!" Matt just ignored what I said and threw me on the couch. Matt laughed and said "im gonna get us some popcorn ok?" i nodded my head and sat upright on the couch but then.... "Why, hello again y/n..." Oh no... this cant be.... HE CANT BE HERE! I looked to where the voice came from, to find hm standing right in front of me, "HENRY. WHAT ARE YOU-" my voice was cut off, i couldn't speak! "Did you really think i wouldn't plan ahead for this? Oh dear, you WILL help me, remember? YOU HAVE NO CHOICE." what? I felt footsteps running from the kitchen and the hall "oh, i dont think so, henry" it was matt, i glance back, both matt steven were behind me steven seeming madder than ever but me? I had learned what henry had done long ago... just suppressing the ANGER everything went to a blur of red, when i came to, i felt steven AND matt holding me back, and a bloodied henry on the floor, servees him right, he deserves it. But i looked down to my hands, another trait from my fathers.... Claws when stevven and matt noticed i had calmed down, they let me go. Ii goot a closer look at henry... there was a hole in his stomach.... "Uh...guys what are we supposed to do now? He might be dead...." steven went to call an ambulance and matt just turned to me "geez... that was hot" he said after a short pause. I felt heat rise to my cheeks, "W-WHAT?" i sputtered out, matt let out a chuckle "what, i can't call my partner hot?" I sat back down on the couch matt talking again, "you might wanna change clothes, as hot as you are, its not a good idea to walk around wth bloody clothes on, " i looked down and realized my clothes were SOAKED with blood. I got up and went too change, me and matt desided that after what just happened we would just go to bed. I had changed intoo some pajamas, and gave matt some that were too big for me, he was thankful and we both slipped into bedd, matt put his arms around me and i snuggled into his chest.
