SETTING: TURTLES LAIR, 9:14PM.
POV: Y/N Y/N, 1st person.

After joining the team, we all went to the kitchen to eat the pizza Casey and April brought over. I followed their lead as it was my first time being in this area, and despite it being inside of a sewer- this place was a home.

Definitely not something I'd expect to be in the midst of the sewers.

While Master Splinter returned to the dojo, the turtles seemed eager to dig into the pizza. The 4 of them walked over so casually- yet so fast. I was in slight awe to see them open up the pizza box and immediately sntach a piece as they threw it into their mouths. I glance over at April.

I motioned over towards the turtles and she laughs, "Pizza was the first human food they've ever tried." She told me, "It's their favorite food now.".

"Yeah!" Michelangelo yelled, mouth full. "Before this it was nothing but algae and worms!".

I shiver at the thought of eating algae and worms. That sounds disgusting... but hey, I'm no turtle.

I'm not human either.

"Do you like pizza, Y/N?" Donatello asks me.

"Yeah- pizza's good." I reply, still standing there.

April and Casey went to grab a slice as I continued to stand there- it was obvious that I didn't plan to grab a slice. It makes them all turn to me- making me nervous... Michelangelo even paused with a slice of pizza stuck in his mouth.

"Are you not going to eat?" Casey asks me.

"What?" I question.

"...Uh... are you going to eat?" He asks.

I frown. "I can't," I reply.

I glanced back over at my arm... Donatello did a nice job of fixing it up. Although the metal and the wires are fixed, the cloth that once laid there was ripped. Colored skin shined through it, but we all know that it's not just skin. It was metal- abiotic metal.

"Oh.." Casey mumbled, remembering. "I forgot that you don't need to eat. No wonder you never ate during lunch...".

I sigh and tell him to not worry about it. I was familiar with the taste of pizza before I was mutated. Although I mostly forgot that lucious taste that these turtles long for, I didn't feel jealousy. I was used to it- I was used to people eating food around me that looks absolutely delicious.

I learned to try and forget what certain things tasted like thanks to this... change.

"Well- that won't be much of a problem." Leo announced.

I look over at Leo- surprised. I watch as he walks over to Donatello, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey Don- think you can make something for them?" He asks.

Donatello thinks about it briefly- before he looks over at me. "...Maybe." He replies, "I would have to look more into their system. This may be a weird question- but do you have any blueprints of you, Y/N?"

"No." I reply, "I haven't... mapped one out yet."

"...Do you mind if I check it out then?"

I look over at Donatello- then at Leo. I slowly nod my head, curious.

"I promise to be very careful." Donatello replies, "but in the meantime, I have a gift for you.".

"A gift?" I question.

Donatello would stand and walk over- a small shell in his hand. He held it out towards me, a flash of light emitting from it. I realized it wasn't just a shell- it was a phone.
